Blue cottage is a licensed by Cyprus Tourist Organization self catered 2 bedroom house in Apsiou, 17 km away from Limassol.Found in a peaceful environment it consists of a large open plan living room with fire place, kitchen, bathroom,and garden.
Its central location is ideal for exploring all over Cyprus.This picturesque lovely 2 bedroom house of 120 sq. m. is reached from the road through a flourishing garden by 12 steps. The patio overlooks to the mountain opposite the pine trees.Guests can enjoy the easy rural life in Blue cottage and feel like at home.
Guests have exclusive use of all the house in their own privacy.
The owners welcome their guests in Limassol or in the village and give them all the necessary information. Maps and brochures can be available in the house.
There is a grocery, a kiosk,a coffee shop ,and a tavern in the village. Taverns are all around in the area and they serve very nice freshly cooked food in reasonable prices.
-Check in time is 14.00 and check out time is 11.00 noon.
-Guests are requested, for both environmental and practical reasons not to leave A/C on, when they leave the cottage or when windows and doors are open.
-Throw toilet paper, napkins e.t.c. in the dust bin. Never in the w.c.
-Do not leave wet towels on the furniture or in the wardrobes.
-Smoking not allowed inside however smoking is allowed in the courtyard.
-Usual hygiene standards in the kitchen and bathroom are considered to be expected.
-It would be much appreciated if you respect the house as if it is your own.
We were born and raised in Cyprus,an island in the Eastern Mediterranean with a strong historical Greek influence.
Costas was a bank employee.He early retired in 2014. Now he is a real estate agent and in his spare time he is growing Cypriot aromatic herbs,like rosemary,bay leaves,oregano,lavender. His favorite things to do:work with clay on the wheel,wonder in his fields in Apsiou and traveling.
Elena has been painting ever since was a child, participating in different exhibitions and art competitions. She won 1st place in an UNESCO poster competition. She studied arts in France and French & Greek Literature.
Since 1989 she is being running an art Gallery in Limassol, exhibiting both her work and work from other local and international artists.
Favorite scenes to represent are those derived from the Greek Mythology and favorite material is acrylic paint and pastel. Along with painting, she like a variety of crafts and materials such as designing furniture with iron and glass,ceramics,jewelry making, knitting, crocheting,dancing.
