Hello! It's important you know Denver has a 10.75% lodging tax. We collect it separately (via airbnb) to eliminate tax on service fees and save you a few dollars. “Other things to note” below has info.
Beautifully renovated 1800 s/f home. Contemporary architecture in a comfortable, open setting. Great light, chef's kitchen, comfy beds and amenities. We are close to Steam Espresso, Platt Park Brewing, Old Pearl Street and University of Denver - great for 1 or 2 couples and business travelers.
We have a spacious contemporary impeccably renovated home in Platt Park - one of Denver's best, most delightful, most accessible neighborhoods.
The main home has living, dining, and entertainment areas and a gourmet chef kitchen. A private courtyard with outdoor dining and a gas grill is accessible right off the dining room weather permitting. French press, tried and true Mr. Coffee brewer, and teapot and kettle.
2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms (master bedroom/bathroom and guest bedroom/bath), both with queen beds, are on the main floor. Additionally there is a downstairs bedroom space with a queen bed and separate bathroom. Downstairs is a split-level open area contiguous to to a nicely finished basement.
You can also book our 425 s/f tiny house - the "G Flat":
This is a beautifully finished and furnished separate dwelling with all amenities: one bedroom/one bath (shower), full kitchen, laundry. The high-end American Leather sleeper sofa is a full queen - the G Flat can accommodate 3-4 people.
Our location is convenient to light-rail and public transportation - a great location convenient to most all of Denver.
We are 4.5 miles/12 minutes from Downtown/Performing Arts Center (DCPA)/Convention Center by car - via light-rail it's about 25 minutes. Cherry Creek is 3.5 miles/10 minutes by car. DU/University of Denver is 1.5 miles/4minutes away by car.
High-speed internet, ample on/off street parking, access to private courtyard, quiet street/neighborhood.
At Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays we ask for a minimum 5 day stay :-)
If you are NEW to airbnb and have no reviews please include useful and relevant information about yourself as well as others who would be staying at our home. Basically, please ask yourself "what would I want to know about someone who I am handing the keys to my home?".

Cab fare is about $65 from/to DIA and takes about 40 minutes. Super Shuttle from DIA is $26 each way and takes roughly an hour. Public transit via RTD Sky Ride >transferring to light rail is $9 and takes 70-90 minutes. From the light rail station it's a 12 minute walk to the house.
You can also catch light rail to downtown Denver.

We interact with guests upon arrival. We spend about 15 minutes going through the particulars of the home - after that it's our guest's home. We are always available via phone/text/email for any questions, and we are happy to help out any way we can.
My STR Business License Number is 2017-BFN-0000938 Lodging Tax Regulations: As of January 1, 2017 airbnb hosts are required by the city of Denver to charge a Lodging Tax of 10.75% on the total Booking. The lodging tax is not included in the price - it is collected separately (via airbnb) so as to eliminate any tax on service fees and save you a few dollars.
My wife Vicki and I are friendly, sociable and easy to get along with. We love our renovated home and we are sure you will enjoy it too.
We ask that you be respectful, polite, reasonably quiet, and that you take care of things as if they were your own.
Please note the home is only available to individuals with impeccable reviews and/or reference :-)
