This is small comfy house. We do not recommend more than 4 people, although you could fit 5 if they were super-friendly.
We are proud to be licensed, certified and inspected by the City of Lake Worth , [Business Licenses # (phone number hidden) and (phone number hidden)] and the State of Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation [#DWE(phone number hidden)]. The breeze-way, the fenced-in back yard, the entire house and its contents. Plenty of parking on the street in front of the house.
I speak to or email guests before they arrive, then coordinate entry. A member of the tropics team or I will let them in or they can use the lock box on the door. I contact guests a day before they leave to thank them and arrange the key exchange. I'm always available by cell, text email or next door and welcome communication from guests for any reason.
We are 420 friendly, just no smoking in the house.
Brian, Talia, Jimmy and I are the "Tropic's Team" in Lake Worth. One of us will meet you at the cottage, give you the keys and make sure you are settled in. Call me if you need anything during your stay. You have complete privacy in the house and yard. Feel free to root around in the closets for extra blankets, portable towel wrack, iron, etc. Guests are expected to keep the place neat and clean and do their own laundry and dishes during their stay as maid service is not available. At the end of the visit, we will take care of the sheets and towels, but dirty dishes may not be left in the sink, kitchen sink and surfaces must be wiped clean of food, perishables must be removed from the refrigerator. Leave unopened food. It will be donated to a local food pantry. Take out the trash, but we will take the garbage cans to the curb on the appropriate days. The biggest rule is to relax and let Lake Worth work its magic.
I'm crazy about South Florida. I love animals but am sensitive to people with allergies. (I am open to hosting small non-shedding dogs). I love the outdoor life; walking, snorkeling, swimming and people-watching. I have experienced my deepest Yoga practice at Snook Island Natural Area here in Lake Worth, Florida. I'll do all I can to make sure you enjoy "Where the Tropics Begin" as much as I do. Les puedo hablar en español o en inglés. Saludos.
