Warm, spacious apartment with private entrance in 18th century stone farmhouse overlooking gardens and meadows. Downstairs has a large sitting area, small kitchenette, and bathroom. Upstairs is a sunny bedroom with queen bed.
Space can accommodate a single person, couple or family of up to 4 on request if you are content with a foam mattress on the floor. Price varies depending upon number of guests. Apartment, though not old, is full of charm, with exposed beams, hardwood floors, and built-in bookcases and window seat. Outside the French doors is a patio and garden with outdoor seating.
Travelers are welcome to explore the 12 acre property, visit the chickens and bee hives, or relax in the yard or the barn.
On weekends, we are usually in and out, but we are happy to offer help and tips about things to do in the area.
We are about a mile and a half from New Hope, PA and just across the river from Lambertville, NJ., two great destinations for shopping, antiquing, river activities and eating. The canal tow path, at the end of the road, is a great place for walking or biking. We are less than an hour from Philadelphia and about half an hour from Princeton.
Guests are expected to be considerate, keep the noise level down, respect our home and belongings, and leave the space more or less as they find it. No smoking anything indoors. Guests who smoke outdoors are asked to properly dispose of butts in outdoor trash cans. No additional guests or pets without prior permission.
