Please feel at home in my apartment. I only ask that you respect the precious, personal belongings in the red dining room buffet. If you can avoid using any of my late mother's fine china/glassware, it would be highly appreciated. There is ample dinner/glassware in the kitchen. Also, any personal effects moved into the upper bedroom closets should remain untouched. Each bedroom has sufficient closet space, hangers, etc.
Chances are I will be out of the country during your stay. I have arranged for my neighbor and friend on the 5th floor of the building to assist in my absence. Please feel free to call Mrs. Yianna Vasilakopoulou at +(PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN) (cell) or +(PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN) (home). Otherwise, call me at +(PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN) (Greece) or +(PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN) (USA).
The outdoor balcony is a great space to get in a work out or relaxing massage. I can highly recommend my personal trainer, David Gibson, who can ensure your daily workout routine is not interrupted while traveling. He speaks fluent English and is happy to come to the house. Let me know if interested and I will put you in touch with David.
Prices: Personal training (60 minutes) - 50 EUR for 1 guest, 75 EUR for 2 guests
Massage: from 60 EUR for a 60 minute massage (relaxation, deep tissue, sports, lymphatic and many more)
I can also assist should you require a taxi transfer to/from the airport, port, Athens city center or any other part of Attika. Dimitris and Kostas are great people who drive a very spacious and modern 2014 Mercedes-Benz station wagon. Again, check the guest manual inside the apartment for their contact numbers. I recommend we pre-arrange a transfer for your arrival and departure to ensure seamless and hassle free journey days. Let me know if I can help.
My ultimate goal is for you to feel the ultimate Greek "filoxenia" (meaning hospitality). I want my house to feel inviting and comfortable so feel free to use anything you need.
As this is also my home, kindly respect the fact that I have some family heirlooms that are precious to me. In the dining room is a red buffet that I humbly ask you to avoid using the contents. Also, there are a couple closet doors requiring key access in the left side bedroom, I respectfully ask that they remain locked. Thank you in advance!
Otherwise, as it is an apartment building filled with neighbors and families, please practice common sense regarding noise levels and respecting common areas. For example, please do not knock on their doors or buzz them to let you into the building. Also, Sunday is typically a quiet day in the afternoon hours, as most Greeks take a nap, so be especially quiet!
Absolutely no smoking allowed inside the apartment. The only designated area for smoking is outside and ash trays will be provided on the balcony.
No pets allowed.
Born and raised in Miami, Florida to Greek parents, my life’s journey brought me to amazing Greece almost 10 years ago.
Fortunately, my job sees me traveling the world so I am well versed in living out of a suitcase and wanting to feel at home, especially on vacation. For that reason, my home is fully equipped with all the creature comforts of home.
I look forward to meeting new friends interested in seeing this beautiful land from the eyes of a local and ultimately living their own Greek myth!
Thank you so much for looking at my apartment and I hope we can connect soon!
