Shandra and Eric's home was one of the best airbnb experiences I've ever had. The host was very friendly and easy to communicate with. He met us to let us into the home, and while I was feeding my daughter in the car, he showed my husband around and gave us some delicious breakfast treats that made us feel welcomed and at home. The kitchen in the home was furnished with high end appliances and had everything we could ever need to make delicious meals at home. (There are two grocery stores within walking distance). The house had so much natural light and was the perfect place to have breakfast each morning before exploring LA. The rest of the house is decorated beautifully and tastefully. I am kind of obsessed with finding a place to stay that is aesthetically pleasing and this home really fit the bill. It was the perfect balance of both gorgeous and functional. The beds were extremely comfortable and the living room also very nice for having a glass of wine and unwinding after a long day. Now for the outdoor space- the backyard was perfect!!! I traveled with my almost 2 year old and she had a blast playing out in the yard every single day. It was amazing. Also the neighborhood is very nice and safe. Parking was no problem at all and there were sooo many places within walking distance to grab coffee, shop, or eat. (LAmill was so good! Hyperion public is great for a casual get together with friends.) I would highly recommend this home to anyone visiting the LA area(very conveniently located for exploring all LA has to offer). I really hope to make it back and would be thrilled to be able to stay here again!!! Thanks Shandra and Eric!!!!

Best airbnb experience ever! Shandra & Eric were so helpful in answering all our questions and their place is just beautiful! Everything looks exactly as pictured and when we arrived there were eggs, bagels, fruit, yoghurt, wine etc. Such a warm welcome! The area is amazing with silver lake in walking distance for jogging, walking the dog or hanging by the great lawn. Also trader joe's is just a 1 minute drive away ;)

A perfect Airbnb experience, we will stay here many more times! beautiful home, and excellent location. Shandra and Eric were very hospitable and my girlfriend and I had a VERY easy check-in. They even waited a bit longer because we were running behind. thank you guys!!

We were so pleased with Shandra and Eric's place. They made us feel very welcome right from the start, even leaving some fresh food supplies for us in the kitchen to greet us after our long journey. They really went out of their way to help us with extra equipment that we needed too. The apartment was spacious, stylish and cozy, and very well equipped. The garden was beautiful too. We loved the area - Silverlake is full of fun and interesting places to eat, drink and be entertained, and the area around the apartment felt really safe (and child friendly). We had a great stay with our two young children, and miss it already!

The place in SilverLake was a beautiful 2 bedroom apartment. From the fresh smell when you arrived, to the linens and towels, to the wine, candy, and fruit waiting for you in the large kitcen-this place exceeded expectations and it you have the opportunity to visit LA; put this one on your list.

Beautiful, immaculately refurbished, FULLY FURNISHED 1300 sq. ft 2 bedroom, 1 bath ECO rental located in one of Silverlake's best neighborhoods. Built in 1930, this spanish style duplex with tasteful/modern updates on the inside is the perfect space and has everything that you'll need for your stay in Los Angeles. The master bedroom is furnished with a king size bed, six drawer dresser and walk in closet. Second bedroom has a queen size bed and walk in closet. Both walk in closets have plenty of hanging space as well as clothing and storage shelves. High thread count linens in both bedrooms. Beautiful, original hardwood floors throughout (except for master bedroom which has a neutral berber carpet). High end fire alarm system. Building has been bolted for earthquake reinforcement.

Classic but modern, fully loaded and impeccably remodeled kitchen with ceasarstone counter tops, all stainless steel appliances (Amana Fridge, gas stove and convection oven, Bosch Dishwasher) and custom cabinetry. Coffee maker, blender and toaster oven.
Full, beautifully remodeled bath with ceasarstone counter tops, champaign lime stone floors, original reconditioned tub, separate shower and double vessel sinks with custom cabinetry.

Full dining room (dining room table seats 8), large living room and separate breakfast nook/office space. Flat screen TV with apple tv connected. Free WIFI. Separate, in unit laundry room with washer and dryer.
Powerful, quiet, energy star rated Carrier central air and heating system. Spacious garden with out door dining area, fire pit, grill, fruit-bearing trees and hammock for late afternoon naps in large back yard. Tons of natural light with great views of the Pasadena Mountains all the way to Mount Baldy and Big Bear. 2 blocks away from famous Silverlake reservoir (with one of LA's most popular walking/running trails). Walking distance to some of LA's best restaurants, cafes, boutiques, silverlake library, city steps, yoga studios, specialty cheese and wine shops, silverlake recreation center and park, Gelson's and Trader Joe’s (and soon a Whole Foods- currently being built). A short drive to Griffith park, Dodger Stadium, Elysian park, Echo Park, Atwater village, Sunset junction and Los Feliz village. 5 minute drive to farmer's makets, the greek theater, hiking trails, movie theaters, music clubs, bars and our local health food store. Only a 10 minute drive to, downtown LA, MOCA, Olvera St., China Town, Little Tokyo, Hollywood, Staples Center, Disney Hall, Universal Citywalk. Great neighborhood, quiet street, but close to the 2, 5, 134 and 101 freeways. Great family neighborhood and children welcome! Pets negotiable. Absolutely no parties/events allowed.

One parking space provided in garage with electric vehicle power outlet (renter pays nominal additional electric fees if charging electric vehicle).

***This is the upper unit. The yard is a terraced backyard and the unit is two flights of stairs up from street level, so it is not suitable for those who have difficulty climbing stairs. You would be sharing the backyard with the downstairs tenant. On site storage available for an extra fee.

This rental is cleaned by a green cleaning service using only non-toxic cleaning products. NON-SMOKING.

We will be there to welcome you at check-in. After that we are close by and available to assist you if necessary.
Depending on the length of a guest's stay, we might stop by to pick up our mail from our mailbox. If we do, we'll be sure to notify you ahead of time so there's no surprise; we will not need access to the house to do so.
Extended stays of 14 or more days will require mid-stay cleaning (once every 2 weeks); scheduling will be arranged prior to arrival and cleaning will be overseen by us.

Consideration of host's property, and for the neighbors is expected. Please keep noise level at a minimum. Absolutely no loud music or parties/events. Absolutely no smoking anywhere on the property, in front of or around the property, including in front on the street. Any smoking smoking on/at/near property or events/parties held will result in an immediate end to the reservation. Only invitees indicated at the time of booking are allowed in the unit for the duration of your stay; no additional visitors (day/ overnight) without prior written approval from Host.
We allow a 10 minute grace period for Uber drivers or deliveries and have video surveillance in front of the property to monitor all arriving and departing guests. If undisclosed guests are invited by any guest in your party- it is grounds for immediate cancellation.

Please take care of our floors and rugs by removing your shoes upon entering the house. Thank you!

Absolutely no loading or parking in front of neighbors walk ways or garages. Our neighbors will call parking enforcement and have your car towed!!! If we receive a complaint regarding a blocked drive way, gate, walk way or garage, we will deduct $100 from your deposit and gift that $100 to the owner/tenant of that property. Please understand that we have added this to our rental agreement due to complaints from our neighbors, and as a way avoid any issues with parking. Thank you.

Home should be well-maintained for the duration of your stay and looked after with the same care and respect as you would your own home. If you are bringing your pet, please be sure to pick up the poop from the yard and discard in the outdoor trash bin DAILY. Never leave your pet in the unit alone. Pets should not be left outside unattended at any time. Please also keep your pet off of ALL furniture. If we find any pet hair on the furniture we will deduct $50 from your deposit for extra cleaning.

To save energy please make sure and turn off all lights/heating/air conditioning when you leave the rental.

***Please only buy/use septic friendly toilet paper to help avoid issues with the plumbing.

Please lock and secure all windows and doors before leaving the house. Please do not leave windows open when it is raining.

Food and beverages should not be consumed in any of the bedrooms. Please attend to any spills and treat stains immediately. Please make sure to use coasters for beverages to avoid glass rings on wood surfaces.

If using the outdoor fire pit, please be sure to completely douse embers when you're finished. If you are using the backyard and fire pit at night, please be respectful of neighbors and keep the noise level to a minimum. Please do not use the fire pit past 8 pm on weekdays and 10 pm on weekends. If you are enjoying the backyard at night, please be sure to bring your conversation indoors by 8PM on weekdays and 10PM on weekends. This will keep our neighbors happy!

Prior to checking out, please strip all of the sheets and duvet covers off of the beds and place on the floor of the laundry room. Please clear out and throw away all of your left over food from the refrigerator and pantry.

Prior to checking out, please do not leave any dirty dishes in the sink or on the counter tops. Place all dirty dishes in the dishwasher and start cycle.
Prior to checking out, please place ALL recyclables and trash in the outdoor bins.
