We are located on Highway 28- Please do not complain in our reviews that we are located on a 'sometimes' busy street. We are located on SR 28 but also right across from lake Tahoe. Most guests are not bothered by the road. Please read through all our reviews and if you have any questions about our location- please ask us before making a reservation request.

Renters are responsible for bagging up all trash and recycling and placing inside the bear box on departure day. If excessive clean up in the house is required, or there is noticeable evidence of pets or smoking within or around the house, additional charges will be levied against the RENTER and deducted from the Damage Deposit. If a guest must smoke outside on the property, please do so on the paved driveway. Please do not flick cigarette butts or ash on or near our wooden decks or on the wood chipped area surrounding our home.
Renter will be responsible for any damage to our property over and above the initial security deposit. If the hot tub is not taken care of or if the cover is left off overnight, there will be a dump and scrub fee of $150.

Check in is at 4pm, Check out is at 10am. Early check in & late check out MAY be available at the additional rate of $20/hr but this MUST be pre-arranged. If there is another group checking in or out on the same day it is quite unlikely that we can accommodate this. Please inquire closer to your arrival if an early check in or a late check out is available.

Sorry to say but there is no direct lake access across from our property. The nearest beach and pier access is just a half a mile away from the house in nearby Carnelian Bay.

We encourage FUN at our house- We just ask that you please take great care of our home!

We stayed at Sinead's place for three nights on our summer vacation. We had two families with 3 kids each. Pros: 1. The proximity to Tahoe City was great and easy to pop over to the bike trails or Safeway if we forgot something. 2. Sinead was easy to communicate with via text and very responsive. Cons: 1. While this is disclosed in the listing, I did not read it well enough... but the house is RIGHT ON THE ROAD and I was freaking out a bit the whole time that my 20 month old was going to run out into the street. We blocked both entrances with our cars so the older kids could play, but it wasn't ideal. 2. It was super loud since it is on the street.

Sinead has a nice house with a well equipped kitchen and hot tub. It is located directly on the Main St so it was a bit noisy in the mornings and while sitting outside on the patio. We enjoyed how close it was to Tahoe Vista.

The house was great, nice and clean. The beds were comfy, nice appliances, hot tub etc. Would definitely consider coming back in winter for skiing

Sinead was great to deal with, was very responsive and gave great recommendations for things to do locally. The house is as described and is a lot of fun. Great location that is near all the things you need but not in the middle of town. We would definitely consider returning.

Originally born and raised in Ireland, I moved to Lake Tahoe in 1997, met my wonderful husband Ryan (from Boston) in 1998 and we have been married for 9 and owners of this beautiful North Lake cabin for 17 years (respectively). We love to travel and when we are not enjoying Tahoe, we like to visit our family members who are located in Boston, New Hampshire, Dublin, London, Sydney and The Algarve, Portugal.
