This immaculate & well cared for vacation home has 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, Large Yard, Large Hot tub, Basketball Hoop, 2 Open plan living rooms, one up, one down, 2 large screen TV's with satellite, Tivo, Wireless internet, wood stove & bar downstairs, plenty of car & boat or snow mobile trailer parking. House is located right across from lake Tahoe on the main North Lake Blvd and offers filtered lake-views. We are half a mile walk or 2 minute drive to the nearest public beach at Watermans Landing in Carnelian Bay. We are only a 5 min drive to the North Shore casinos in Crystal Bay, and less than 10-15 minute drive to Tahoe city, Incline Village and Truckee. All North Shore ski & golf resorts are within a 15 minute drive from our property.

We are located on the main Tahoe transit public bus route (TART) along North Lake Blvd (SR 28) and the bus stop is less than 100 yards from the property.
10% Placer County Transient Occupancy Tax will need to be added to final rental price (but not on the ABNB fees). PLEASE NOTE: We can collect the tax in a separate payment before you arrive or we can send you an offer which will include the tax so that you can pay it at the time of making the reservation. We prefer that guests send their reservation request as an inquiry first, that way we can send you an offer to include the tax and eliminate the extra step of having to decline your request. We do apologize- it is unfortunate that ABNB does not have a method to add in the 10% tax while providing our guests with a quote. We hope that changes soon. Thank you for your understanding.

We are located on Highway 28- Please do not complain in our reviews that we are located on a 'sometimes' busy street. We are located on SR 28 but also right across from lake Tahoe. Most guests are not bothered by the road. Please read through all our reviews and if you have any questions about our location- please ask us before making a reservation request.
Renters are responsible for bagging up all trash and recycling and placing inside the bear box on departure day. If excessive clean up in the house is required, or there is noticeable evidence of pets or smoking within or around the house, additional charges will be levied against the RENTER and deducted from the Damage Deposit. If a guest must smoke outside on the property, please do so on the paved driveway. Please do not flick cigarette butts or ash on or near our wooden decks or on the wood chipped area surrounding our home.
Renter will be responsible for any damage to our property over and above the initial security deposit. If the hot tub is not taken care of or if the cover is left off overnight, there will be a dump and scrub fee of $150.
Check in is at 4pm, Check out is at 10am. Early check in & late check out MAY be available at the additional rate of $20/hr but this MUST be pre-arranged. If there is another group checking in or out on the same day it is quite unlikely that we can accommodate this. Please inquire closer to your arrival if an early check in or a late check out is available.
Sorry to say but there is no direct lake access across from our property. The nearest beach and pier access is just a half a mile away from the house in nearby Carnelian Bay.

Originally born and raised in Ireland, I moved to Lake Tahoe in 1997, met my wonderful husband Ryan (from Boston) in 1998 and we have been married for 9 and owners of this beautiful North Lake cabin for 17 years (respectively). We love to travel and when we are not enjoying Tahoe, we like to visit our family members who are located in Boston, New Hampshire, Dublin, London, Sydney and The Algarve, Portugal.
