Recently renovated apartment in Schillerkiez. Near U bahn station, 2 blocks away from Tempelhof park and farmers market.
The house offers all of the necessary amenities in one of the most popular neighborhoods in Berlin. Long stays preferred.
The apartment is 83 sq meters with a very spacious room with a big double bed with a memory foam mattress. The room is a corner room overlooking the promenade so it has sun all day long. My apartment is my home with all my magazines, books and stuff. We care about how it looks and put great care about how we decorate it (its hard to find ikea here).
We have a terrace where we have dinner and lunch, or just sit to read during those long summer days.
The apartment is great for couples who want to spend some time in Berlin as it offers all of the amenities in one of the most dynamic neighborhoods in the city; Neukölln. Situated in the authentic „Schillerkiez“, the apartment is surrounded by art galleries, new bars brewing some of the best IPA's in Berlin, and the best restaurants in the neighborhood.
Tempelhof Park – a former airport turned into an immense park offers ample space to jog, kite surf or just sit down to enjoy the sunset in its gardens. The Berlin airports Tegel or Schönefeld (a bit closer) are a 30min trip away from my place, using public transportations. A U-Bahn-Station (Metro) of line U8 is 400 meters from the front door (or so says (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) maps!) and brings you to Kottbusser Tor (6min), Warschauer Strasse (10min) or Berlin-Mitte (15min).
The apartment contains a spacious, modern, and fully equipped kitchen. It includes a large fridge, oven, and vitroceramic to cook your meals. You also have a new dishwasher and a washing machine for your clothes.
The bathroom was recently renovated and counts with a shower/bath tub, and two sinks, as well as ample space to keep your own stuff.
We are a couple, a pediatrician and a postdoc doing research at the university who will be living abroad for some months. That’s one of the reasons why it is a lovely place with personal things, and not run by professionals who rent apartments furnish them at Ikea and list them at Airbnb.
