This wonderful 5th floor apartment is a relaxing sanctuary right in the middle of it all. The flat has two bedrooms, a cozy living room, an open kitchen and a large balcony. With mosaics, wooden floors and beams, this is your home away from home.
The flat is located in a little square in the Raval neighborhood. It is truly a charming apartment with mosaic and wooden floors, and wooden beams covering the ceiling. The master bedroom is a quiet litle zen style alcove with a walk-in closet. The second bedroom I use as an office normally, but has a futon bed in caese of more than 2 visitors. The large balcony has a reading chair and a table for two. This is where I sit every day enjoying my breakfast and dinner, watching over the rooftops all the way to the castle on top of Montuic, the hill overlooking the city. The kitchen is equipped with all the necesities and opens up to a a dinner table making the process of cooking a social event. The bathroom is small but cute.
Basically this is a real Barcelona home. The real experience. It's bohemian with its little quirks and tricks, and it is truly a place of calm in the middle of this loud and hectic metropolis.
This is my home, as welcome as all guests are there are a few rules ;) The true scandinavian that I am, I always leave my shoes at the door. I expect guests to do the same. There is no smoking inside the flat but that is not a problem on the balcony. There you can puff away. Our house has the incredible characteristic (for Barcelona) of being very quiet. This is truly something amazing in this city, so in respect of all that families that live here, no loud noises or music after 11PM. In general feel at home, relax, have fun while remembering that you are a guest in a community of many families.
Hi! I'm a 37 year-old film maker. I've lived in Barcelona for the past 15 years and I love it! I tend to travel quite a lot for work and pleasure so I like to offer my home to voyagers from all around the world so that they can enjoy this amazing city from my little oasis in the center of it all. Welcome!
