Quiet apartment, bedroom and living room with view on a little bamboo garden ! Original, in a safe and nice neighborhood with lots of restaurants, shops, public transports. Direct fast links to airports. Ideal for a single, a couple, two friends.
my apartment has one bedroom with a two people bed, one living room with a two, ideal for a couple or friends. It's about 35 sq. meters, it has the entrance and bathroom on groundfloor, living room, kitchen and bedroom on first floor. The kitchen and bathroom are small, but fully equipped and have been renovated recently. There is free wifi internet, cable tv, etc. It has a 'house' feeling inside the city.
The whole space is yours during your stay. You access through the main door of the building with a magnetic card, then the apartment door is in the courtyard.
Either me or my friend will be available by phone or email if you need anything, but usually i'll just see you at the beginning and at the end of your stay. We can tell you how to arrive from airport or train station, all you need to know about the neighbourhood, transportation to major sites, markets, etc. Just ask what you need.
Please note that there is one flight of stairs inside the apartment, so not for persons who have big difficulties to walk. There are books, kitchenware, hairdryer, vacuum cleaner etc. that you can use, but please let it there. If you need anything extra, tell us and we will help you. The tap water in Paris is good to drink (especially in this area, it comes from a spring).
It's not a hotel, it's a home. Imagine you rent your place: how do you expect people to behave. Basically, be quiet after 10 or pm, be reasonably clean, autonomous, enjoy the apartment and respect the neighbours. Check in after 2PM, Check out before 12 please, or tell us if you need a special time. Between 8pm and 8am (in the night), we ask for 30 euros fee. If you are only 2 people, but use 2 beds, there is an extra cleaning fee of 30€. We can also help you with taxi reservation, and car parking (5€/day)
after living abroad for over ten years as a journalist, I moved back to Paris, my homecity,
where I stay now, on and off.
I love travelling (22 countries so far), photography, writing, taichi, yoga, cooking, music, bicycling, going on weekends with friends.
To my opinion, a good place to stay when traveling is a place where you can feel comfortable after a long day in the city, comfy with a good spirit, not like a hotel, more like a home.
