I love my NYC space dearly and I think you will too! I'm on the 2nd floor (only one flight of stairs) in a neighborhood that has all you could ever need for a great stay in NYC and easy access to public transportation. My apartment is walking distance to Soho, Nolita, the Lower East Side, Washington Square Park, Union Square and more. The space is a quiet, cozy respite from the crazy city and great for sleep- I have black-out curtains!
Welcome to my clean, cozy studio in the heart of the East Village. The location is incredibly convenient- a 5-15 minute walk to Soho, Chinatown, Nolita and the Lower East Side. See transportation info. below.
My house is on a quiet street (not avenue) on the second floor (just 1 flight of stairs) of a small building. I have wonderful, quiet neighbors and the apartment is at the back of the building so no street noise. My bed is delicious and sleeps 2 and I have a couch that can sleep 1- as long as they're not tall.
The studio space is divided with a curtain so that the sleeping and living spaces can be somewhat separate. The apartment has a separate bathroom and kitchen. The kitchen is bigger than your average studio kitchen with plenty of space for cooking.
On my block, you will find 2 bodegas, a laundromat, and a few great restaurants. The greater, walkable surrounding area has all your heart could desire in an authentic, non-touristy neighborhoods including amazing restaurants, bars, parks and all the people-watching one woman/man could ask for.
I've made this my home over the past 7 years with lots of love and I think you will find it a peaceful hideaway for your stay in the big city. Please let me know if you have any questions.
There are great transportation options nearby including the 2nd Avenue stop (F), the Broadway Lafayette stop (4,5,6,B,D, F,M), Astor Place & NYU stops (4,5,6,N,R) & Union Square (L,N,Q,R,W,4,5,6), among others. I'm Hallie. I am excited to share my home with you. I have lived in this apartment for nearly 4 years and truly adore it. I am a traveler and as such, I understand the value of a safe and comfortable place to call home as you explore the world. I work in the communications/social justice field and am a photographer and I strive to practice yoga on and off the mat. I enjoy my friendships, reading, learning, tex-mex and my home, the great state of Texas:)
