This appartment is my cocoon, it is quiet and always sunny, all rooms opening onto a terrasse where you can chill and enjoy the sun. It has been re-done in the last year and has all necessary facilities. I hope you will enjoy it as much as I do!
3 room 70 square meter flat with a 12 square meter balcony.
The flat is light, oriented full south it enjoys sun and warmth from sunrise to sunset. It is also very spacious and quiet, in a modern and sound proof building.
The building is 9 years old, and has a lift that will take you to the 3 floor. You enter into a large lounge and an open kitchen, both with doors onto the balcony. The lounge has a TV and DVD player, a hi-fi... And if you play music, a piano... it has a corner couch that unfolds into a very comfortable double bed, and table chairs and books. The kitchen is fully equipped, from your breakfast toaster, kettle and coffee machine, to your electric oven and stove.
There are also two bedrooms, each sleeping two, and opening onto the balcony. The bathroom is small but comfortable and you can enjoy a hot bath or shower after a day walking round Paris. There is a washing machine.
The flat is equipped with wifi, and the codes will be left for you.
The floors are hardwood in the lounge and carpet in the berdrooms.
People who come here generally enjoy this place and describe it as being cosy, restful and arty.
The flat is located 3mn walking from Paris, just by the Montreuil Puces (flea market) in a hype and safe area. You can listen to live music, have ethnic or traditional French food here, from 7 am to midnight.
3 minutes from metro line 9, and 8 from line 1, the line that crosses all the most interesting tourist locations in Paris (Bastille, Le Marais, Le Louvre, Le jardin des Tuileries, La défense, the Vincennes Castle, the Place de la Concorde), the flat is also conveniently placed to go to Eurodisney (20 mn on the RER or by car, and there is also a night bus that stops a couple of blocks off if you miss the last metro. If you prefer cycling, there are four vélib stops close at hand. Local places of interest include the Bois de Vincennes with its floral parc and fun play area for kids, you can also cycle, run or rent row boats there, and for a bit of history, visit its castle and beautiful chapel; there is a lso a beautiful 12th century church in Montreuil, and it is the hometown of French cinema.
If you enjoy shopping off the beaten path, Montreuil is also the home to vintage clothing and designer outlet stores with latest designer fashion at huge discounts. And for the wine connaisseur sthere are also good wine shops just round the corner.
In addition to the local traditional French Open food market (Wednesdays and Saturdays), there is also a larger busting market 3 times a week at Croix de Chavaux, where you can by anything from spicy olives to roast chicken, and clothes, toys and kitchenware; a traditional cheese fruit and meat market in Vincennes (a 5 minute walk); the flea market where you could come upon a €5 1960 Channel dress, and the St Mandé market (5 mn away) known for its stamp, coins and old book collections. The Puces is an ideal place for bargain seekers, collectors and treasure hunters.
If you tire of wine, cheese and restaurants, and prefer home cooking, there is also a great supermarket and an organic and health store, less than three minutes walk from the flat.
Live music venues include the Bar du Marché - you can hear kelzmer, African music or jazz whilst eating their tapas, the Chinois for rock and good mojitos, and the local BDS for retro-punk ... very cheap beers and great athmosphere. But you could also choose planete Andalucia for flamenco and the instants Chavirés for the experimental scene.
The local Cinema, the Meliès, offers tickets about half the price of the Paris multiplexes, and all films are shown in Original version.

j'adore voyager, et j'adore nepas etre à l'hotel. Après avoir loué des appartements ou être resté chez l'habitant à New York, san Juan, au Mexique, en Espagne, en Angleterre ou en Italie, j'ai décidé de permettre à d'autres de vivre celà chez moi.
