Our apartment is located right in the middle of the blooming area of Vesterbro. It’s on the third floor, but don’t worry, there’s an elevator! We’ve got two very charming and spacious rooms and a nice big kitchen. There’s also a balcony facing the yard - a great spot for the morning coffee.
The bedroom accommodates two people and in the living room it’s possible for another two people to sleep on a mattress. If you feel like it you can also sleep on the couch.
1 minute away is Enghave Plads, with lots of cosy bars, cafés, bakeries (try the one called Brød!) and nice restaurants. Our local bar, Dyrehaven has a great assortment of beer and here you can sit outside (if the weather allows) and enjoy their take on Danish culinary specialities, smørrebrød.
We also live close to the popular area of Kødbyen (meat-packing district), where there are lots of great bars and modern restaurants. This is definitely one of Copenhagen’s hot spots.
Our place is very close to the main train station - you can either take a 10-minute walk or take a bus here.
For those who have allergy, we have a cat but of course she won't be there during your stay!!
We’ll help you with more tips when you arrive!
Looking forward to hear from you,
Jakob & Julie
Basically just common sense, but here are a few highlights:
* Remember to dry the bathroom floor up after showering
* Copenhageners are known to be quite patient with neighbours, but please try to limit noise and loud music during weekdays (10-10.30 pm) - enjoy the wonderful nightlife instead!
* Don't leave the stove on
Otherwise make yourselves at home!
We're a scandinavian couple (swedish and danish) currently living in Copenhagen. We just got back from a six-month exchange in Paris, and we love to travel as much as we can. We just discovered airbnb and it seems like a really great concept. See you out there or back here!
