Smart, comfortable, tranquil, self-contained double room in well-presented, unique apartment. An ex-restaurant there are wood floors throughout. The room is fair-sized with a desk and executive chair should you need to work. It also has an ample wardrobe. Your private bathroom is en suite and has a bath and shower. Linen, towels all of course provided.
When I first saw the place it was a restaurant. Eighteen months later, all the cookers, chairs, tables, coffee machines etc were gone. Now it is a very habitable, functional and modern home with a few telltale features - swing doors, arches into the kitchen, retractable electric shutters over the windows, a large collection of very heavy plates. All in all a place that I enjoy living in and which - should you choose to - I think you will enjoy staying in.
You are welcome to use the common areas of the flat, i.e., the kitchen / dining area plus the living room. You will have your own private bathroom.
I am not always at home but if I am I will be happy to help you with any queries you may have concerning either the flat, the neighbourhood or even London as a whole. I'm born and bred (apparently a rare things these days) so have a passable knowledge of what the city has to offer. I have a couple of spare Oyster cards which you can use on public transport (greatly reducing the amount you would pay if just buying single or day pass tube tickets) and you are welcome to borrow them during your stay.
No smoking, pets or parties and preferably shoes off. Otherwise please treat the place respectfully as your own.
