We never got to stay in this apartment as when we rang the stipulated hour before arrival we were told that we couldn't stay in King Elsham after all. The reason given was that it was being repainted after previous clients had left it in a bad way. We were told we could have another apartment on the same road so we set off on foot from Shepherds Bush tube with our luggage. The new apartment turned out to be significantly further to walk, its nearest tube was actually High Street Kensington, and not on the same road. It was on the main, busy, noisy road that runs parallel to the quiet street King Elsham is located on. The apartment was fine although initially it didn't have the same amount of beds - I had gone for King Elsham because of the fold out beds - but that was sorted out the same evening. We would probably have forgotten the inconvenience of the change (although it meant we spent our time walking to High St Ken and using the Circle line instead of Shepherds Bush and the Central) if we hadn't received a message asking us to ring Carl - apparently the landlord of our new place - just before we left to go out that evening. We rang him (in Norway) and were told we would have to move again as other clients needed our apartment. We told him we were going out and that it wasn't possible and he suggested that he send someone round to move our stuff while we were out. We said this wasn't acceptable but that we could move in the morning if we had to and left to go to our dinner booking (which we were then half an hour late for). At one in the morning we received a text saying we wouldn't have to move but the whole scenario was unsettling and left a bad impression. At no point in our stay did we ever communicate with Pavel, it was all with Carl Risberg or his staff, I suspect he owns a lot of these flats. We had a good weekend but it wasn't the start we had hoped for. The flat itself was adequate although the front bedroom was noisy and the shared hallway was leaking from upstairs. The hot water couldn't manage 5 showers either. I think the apartment we stayed in is advertised as King Holland.

Suky was a lovely client but forgets part of the facts 1) The truth is the flat Suky had rented had been repainted in the bedroom earlier same day due to some small water damages The smell would linger for some hours In order to let Suky; our client get the early access she asked for we offered her another flat with access at no charge so she could get in early and not endure the paint smell with the windows open She said she would like to see the flat first so she and her friends could decide Once she viewed the flat she said she was happy to stay there When same evening we had a client who was handicapped and needed ground floor access we called Suky We asked Suky if she would move to her original reserved flat in order for us to accommodate the handicapped client but Suky did not wish that so they stayed in the flat for the whole period We have a standard Water Tank; own the flat 10 years w/o any complaint; if 5 guests take long shower it will eventually go cold and need time to heat up Mr Carl is in charge with check ins/outs in some of the offered apartments We also offered her as compensation one free night stay with us on a future visit

The listing was accurate for the most part. However, the mobile phones were not in the apartment, there was no central heat and hot water was limited. If you have a car, parking is a challenge. Street parking is unavailable, and the local garage parking is fairly expensive. Pavel and his team were responsive throughout the process. Check in/out went smoothly, and questions were addressed quickly. The location was just as described and very convenient. We had 2 adults and three children, and the property met our needs well. Overall it was a very good first experience with airbnb!

The flat we had booked was cancelled the day before arrival as it had a leak, but Pavel had this other flat which we moved our booking to. It was clean and well furnished. A 10 min walk to Olympia was convenient for us. Up 3 flights of stairs with no lift, so not good for infirm or very young.

A really nice experience! We were 6 people and the place was perfect for 3 nights. Also, Pavel and his staff has been really close to us everytime we needed some info by phone or email. In particular, our group had a very bad experience with another host, that cancelled our booking without warning just one day before the departure! We saw this announce during a desperate research and Pavel replied immediately. A saviour! A note: if you look at the map, you will see a railway near the apt. No one of us had problems with noises. Yes, some trains passed at night, but their noise was very low.

L'acceuil était très bien, Nelly (la personne qui nous a fait visiter) était très gentille, elle nous a bien expliqué notamment le fonctionnement de la douche, qui était un peu compliqué. D'ailleurs nous avons eu un problème d'eau chaude le premier matin, mais pas de soucis les jours suivants. Le quartier est très sympa, bien placé par rapport au métro et bus qui vous ammène rapidemment dans le coeur de Londres. Nelly nous a bien expliqué qu'il fallait faire attention aux bruits par rapport au voisinnage. Sinon l'appartement était très bien équipé et charmant ! Merci

We didn't met actually - but we exchanged a lot of emails making me feeling taken care of. The original appartment I tried to book wasn't available at the time needed, but Pavel offered me very quickly a perfect second option that fitted my needs. The person in charge of opening the apartment was very nice and easily reachable as soon as our train arrived in the city --> very good overall experience, thanks!

Overall the stay was very nice. The property was as represented on the photographs, some parts a little worn. Unfortunately, the first day we suffered with the hot water running out and a complaint from the neighbour below about a water leak. For the location and the price, this stay was ideal and I would stay again.
