Street in Downtown AjijicThe vibrant colours of a street in Ajijic

The house is located a block and a half from the Carretera, and a 10 minute walk into the heart of town. The home is fully furnished, and even has Wireless Internet and a Vonage Phone for keeping in touch with family and friends back home. Enjoy Ajijic.

The house has a king size bed in the MBR and a double bed in the second BR. We think you will love the layout and furniture in the house. Drive in to a gated covered parking, and walk up the main door. As you enter you'll see an office/library on the right with the living and dining room on the left side. Walk straight into the kitchen. The home has numerous bathrooms and provides a sense of space and roominess.

The house is So close that you can easily walk into town. Nice quiet street and most of our guests love the neighbourhood. Living in Ajijic is about living away from the hustle and bustle of the busy North American cities, and enjoying a temperate climate and the fresh air. An ideal place for the "close to retirement " couples to come and explore. I think of it as the "secret hangout" for many successful people wanting to slow down their pace, yet with all the excitement of a grand city 25 miles away.

See 'interaction with guests' or 'other things to note' for off season rental discounts.

Close to downtown Ajijic. 5 minutes by bus, and 10 minutes walking. Easy access to the beautiful Ajijic Malecon. Great view in a lovely neighbourhood.
Walk down the cobble stone roadways to explore the richness of life, and experience peace and serenity. Certainly not a place to rush in and rush out. Make sure you visit "lakeside society" where the American, Canadian and other foreign expats mingle with the locals and enrich each other's lives.

We do not live in Ajijic and have a Mexican manager that will give you access to the house and serve as a gracious guide to everything in Ajijic.
We have a free Vonage phone for easy access to me or my wife in Edmonton, Canada. We love hosting people and most of our guests keep returning year after year.
We also have some great suggestions of places to eat in Ajijic, because we believe that Exploring places to eat in and go dancing and walking, is what makes Ajijic so attractive.
Having access to your foreign currency account is easy too with your debit cards.

Ajijic is a lovely community for walking and exploring. The locals are friendly and helpful... But you'll need to speak Spanglish. Most people are happy to live here, in a place that boasts of having the Second best weather in the World. You'll like the weather.

Generally a bus fare into town is 7 pesos. 9 if you're going to Chapala.
We have in our house, a few phone numbers of taxi drivers that understand and speak a little English. Taxis are reasonable.

We are Denzal & Patricia Lobo - a highly spirited, young mature couple, living in Edmonton, in Alberta, Canada.
We love going to movies, eating out and travelling, when we are not Ballroom Dancing or visiting with Friends.
In my spare time, I have partnered with pharmaceutical company that specializes in helping families develop an wholistic approach to health and financial wellness. I love the experience of an wholistic approach to life and business.
If We have any free time left, we mentor Real Estate Entrepreneurs looking to buy their first three income generating properties, or their first multi-family building. I can get excited when we find someone that wants to make additional income by keeping their options open and are open to thinking outside the box.
I think its funny that we purchased our home in Mexico almost sight unseen, and we hope that should you have the opportunity to use our Mexican Home someday, that you will have as much pleasure as we have every time we go down there. Our lovely Mexican Lady Manager will be glad to check you in and can be a useful resource during your stay there.
We love travelling the world, and hosting wonderful people. We have met interesting people through Airbnb. We hope to visit different communities and maybe even enjoy your home sometime if you're on Airbnb, and be assured, we'll care for it during our stay in your home.
