Orange Walk Studio Apartment offers a great, 'affordable', opportunity to stay at the prestigious Sugar Hill development among the magnificent villas of the rich and famous. Fabulous views and a private pool plus all the facilities of Sugar Hill.


Orange Walk Studio is nestled among well maintained tropical gardens in one of the best locations in Sugar Hill. It has unhindered and panoramic views of the West Coast and Caribbean Sea. The apartment is prettily furnished with 2 twin beds (which can be made up as a king size bed). There is a shower room and small kitchenette. For your entertainment and communication there is a flat screen TV with cable channels and high speed Wi-Fi internet access. The apartment opens out onto the terrace with relaxed outdoor furniture, providing a dining and relaxation area, with BBQ. The area is covered for shade, sun seekers can relax by the pool. The emphasis is very much on outdoor living, enjoying the fabulous climate.


Guests of Orange Walk Studio have access to the whole apartment and the covered living area as well as the large private pool. The owners of the property live in the large villa next door. They are available should you like advice or a friendly chat, but your privacy is maintained at all times.


We offer a full concierge service to our guests both before they arrive and during their stay. It's important to us that you get the very most out of your holiday. We can arrange VIP fast track arrival services, transfers, car hire, trips and activities, 'spa at home' massage and therapeutic treatments, villa chef - and much more. On arrival you are met at Orange Walk and handed the keys and shown around. During your stay we offer a 24/7 on call service, so you can contact us for any help or advice (although it's so easy to holiday here that most people don't need any help !).

Once you have booked you will be sent a 'Booking Confirmation Form'
Check out time is 12 noon on the day of departure (extensions can sometimes be available by prior arrangement).
Check in time is 3pm on the day of arrival (earlier arrivals can sometimes be accommodated by prior arrangement).
If there is a same day arrival, on your departure day, housekeeping will be required to come to the property in the morning.
You must advise us of flight details (airline and flight number).
No additional guests or visitors are allowed at the property without prior permission from the owner.
No parties or large gatherings are allowed.
No smoking is permitted anywhere inside or outside the property.
No Pets are permitted. Special permission can be gained for such animals as guide dogs.
Please refrain from sitting on the beds, living room and dining room chairs when wet or when sunscreen lotion has been applied.
Please remember to be close windows and doors in the event it rains or when the house is unoccupied.
Please keep bedroom doors and windows closed when A/C units are being used and please turn off all A/Cs, lights and fans when not in the room.
Please be careful with the keys as there is a US$200 charge for all lost keys and replacement locks.
The accommodation is self-catering. Initial starter supplies of hand soap, toilet rolls, kitchen roll, washing up liquid, dish cloths and sponges are provided.
You are responsible for your personal possessions. Please take appropriate care and precautions. We recommend relevant insurance cover.
Accidents happen; if you break or lose something, let us know.
Don’t leave candles burning when you are not present. Avoid the use of candles and naked flames indoors.





My boyfriend and I very much enjoyed our six night stay at Orange Walk Studio. Upon arrival we were greeted by the owners Gilly & Humphre who live in the house to which the studio is attached. They were very generous and took the time to show us around the property and even invited us upstairs for a drink one evening. The studio is located downstairs and has its own separate entrance to the main house. It was charming, very clean and equipped with fan and air con. It also has some kitchenette type facilities which was handy as we had breakfast there each morning. The outside pool area is where its at though. It is as per the pictures in the listing and we had exclusive use of the entire downstairs area during our stay. There is a house keeper who a passes by in the mornings (and tidies the studio) but apart from this we were left uninterrupted. As a side note the Wifi works outside which we loved. We were happy to have rented a car as the restaurant at Sugar Hill was closed during our stay (it reopened the day we left!). Luckily there is a town 10 minutes drive away (Holetown) which has many restaurants and shops so this was not an issue. We made the most of the facilities at Sugar Hill particularly the gym and the tennis courts (it has night lights) as well as the infinity pool. These facilities were a 5 minute walk from the studio and complimentary for our stay as we were given member passes (I believe there is a charge for renting out tennis rackets but we brought our own). In short, I would highly recommend Orange Studio especially for anyone looking for a more private alternative to a hotel in Barbados.

This is a wonderful location for a Barbados break. We took something of a chance booking the apartment for 2 weeks but could easily have stayed longer. Gilly & Humph (wonderful hosts who ensured our stay was entirely private) couldn't have been better and their cleaner kept us tidy and did our laundry (for a nominal fee) so we didn't have to overpack. The pool area is magnificent and is very private - It is also lit up in the evening as is the outdoor seating area. The apartment itself is a self contained unit under Gilly & Humph's home and leads directly onto the pool with its own parking spot and entrance from the side of the house. There is everything you would need included there - With the incredible bonus of temporary membership of the clubhouse - gym, Spa and larger communal pools as well as a great restaurant. What more could you want? We had a restful and enjoyable time and we'll certainly be back!

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Orange Walk. The property is well appointed and the private pool is fabulous. Our hosts Humphrey and Gilly were gracious, attentive and made us feel very welcome. It is a great spot. We rented a car so getting around to see the sights was very easy as we were centrally located to beaches, restaurants, shopping and many of the eco tourists sites on the island. We are not tennis players but there were gorgeous courts. The restaurant within the complex that Orange Walk is located is good value for money and the upper infinity pool had stupendous views. I would definitely recommend for a quiet relaxing stay for a couple.

Our hosts and owners made us feel extremely welcome. The apartment was very comfortable and the Sugar Hill development was lovely.

My boyfriend and I had a wonderful 6 day stay at Orange Walk. The apartment is part of a residential area called Sugar Hill which is rather plush and has a clubhouse with pool, gym and a restaurant which we made full use of. It's a drive away from the beech and most of the main restaurants, so I really recommend renting a car as taxis seemed to be a bit difficult in Barbados in general. Inside the apartment we had good facilities, bathroom, large bed, TV and a small kitchenette to fix up a quick breakfast. The real jewel of the apartment is the private pool and a large outdoor area with sun loungers and beautiful garden furniture. The gardens surrounding are luscious. Our hosts, Gilly and Humphrey are a delightful couple and invited us for a drink on their balcony one night to watch the sunset (which we sadly were too late for, but the company was splendid!) I would recommend Orange Walk studio for a relaxing holiday in barbados

Lovely studio in a secure estate away from the main road located beneath the main house occupied by the owners. The private use of the swimming pool was a big attraction for us at this property and with direct access from the apartment it was great to be able to take a dip whenever we liked. Nice comfortable bed and all the facilities you need to look after yourselves but will great restaurants just a short drive away. Gilly welcomed us and was on hand to answer and questions about the property or Barbados in general. The location just inland from the West Coast meant it was perfect for exploring this side of the island. Highly recommended - we would love to come back.
