1 hour from Normandy Landing beaches, Mont St Michel, Bayeux tapestry, Caen and Cherbourg. 15 minutes from Saint-Lô, with a fantastic market, 40 minutes Granville, and the beautiful west coast beaches.
2 bedroom cottage in a stone barn conversion, with English and French TV, internet, hotel quality beds, lots of parking. One twin or super-king, one double bedroom, shower room, kitchen and sitting room. Lots of peace, with horses for neighbors.

This converted stone barn has been made into two self-catering 2-bedroom properties, each sleeping 4 people comfortably with the option of a travel cot in each. The gîtes/cottages, can be rented together or apart. Gîte Lily has a small, south facing enclosed garden with a terrace area and barbeque. Gîte Poppy has a west facing terrace for sunset watching.
The houses are in a very quiet spot, but within walking distance (800m) of the village, which has a restaurant (lunch only), bakery, play ground, post office, butcher, tennis court, equestrian centre and two bars. Moyon is in the centre of la Manche, an hour from Cherbourg and Caen ferry ports, and an hour and a half from Dinard airport (with Ryanair flights).
We are well placed for days out to:
Saint-Lô, Granville, Villedieu-les-Poeles, Mont-Saint-Michel, Bayeux, Coutances, the Viaduct de Souleuvre, Vire, La Chapelle-sur-Vire, St Malo, Caen, D-Day Landing beaches and the stunning west coast beaches.
For the adventurous there is bungy jumping, parachuting, flying, kite surfing (when the wind is up), sailing, kayaking, golf, riding and rock climbing within an hours drive.
For families there is the excellent swimming pool complex in Saint-Lô (15 minutes) and beautiful white sand beaches (near Granville). In the village there is the riding school (3 years old +), a playground, tennis court and boules pitch. 5 minutes away there is La Chapelle-sur-Vire with its very large playground and towpath for walks and cycling. There are footpaths all around us.
Locally, there are markets nearly every day. Normandy is famous for its apple and pork products, so try some local cider and dried ham or andouille. For the brave there is tripe!
Gas, water, electricity sheets and towels are included. We also provide shower gel, cleaning products etc so all you need to pack are your clothes
If coming with a baby, we provide: travel cot, sheet, baby sleeping bag, high chair, plastic plates, bowls, cups, spoons, forks, potty and baby bath.
