House Rules

Parties and Functions are strictly prohibited. The Property is for domestic use only and not commercial. Breach of this condition may result in immediate termination and eviction without refund and extra charges for security, cleaning, garbage removal, wear and tear, repairs etc.

You are responsible for damage, breakages, theft and loss of the Property and any part of it during your stay. You must notify us of this immediately.
Management may recover from you repair or replacement cost (at Management's discretion).

Management take no responsibility for the Guest's personal property.
Only the guests nominated and agreed in the Booking may stay in the Property over night. If any other guests stay extra charges may apply or the agreement may be terminated without refund.

Disturbance to our neighbours, including excessive noise, is prohibited and may result in termination and eviction without refund and extra charges may be made for security and other expenses.

All furniture and furnishings must be left in the position they were in when you arrived.

The property should be vacated on time and secured. All windows and doors are to be locked. The oven, lights, heaters, fans, washing machine and clothes dryer must be turned off at the power point. All keys must be returned to Management or as otherwise directed.

You are responsible for the safekeeping and return of accommodation keys.

Smoking is not permitted inside the Property or on the balcony or entrance walkway.

As all apartments in the complex are privately owned, we do ask that your apartment be left in a neat and tidy state on departure.

Before departure, all food must be removed from fridges, all rubbish put in the appropriate council rubbish bins provided, cooking equipment and crockery and cutlery washed and packed away. The Property must be left in a clean and tidy condition.

Whilst it is not our preference, a cleaning charge is applied in circumstances where the apartment is left in an unsatisfactory condition.

The view from 83 Great Ocean Road is fantastic, and it is close to the beach and walkable from downtown Lorne. We enjoyed watching the cockatoos and kookaburras visit on the deck, and being able to park in the garage was great. The unit was spacious for our party of 4 adults and 2 children. However, we found it to be insufficient when it came to basic essentials (such as toilet paper, dishwashing tablets, tissues, NO paper towels, NO milk in the fridge, etc), and unfortunately the host was not willing to provide more. I thought the place was lacking some of those nice personal touches that are often found at AirBnB stays (such as a guest info book, brochures, a note from the host, etc) It was a bit disappointing given the price and the description as "luxury accommodation."

We LOVED our stay on the Great Ocean Road. Lorne is the perfect location and the house is situated for constant amazing ocean views. Kim was a great host, very responsive to all our questions, and had great recommendations.

Wow - what a view and great location close enough to walk into town but not troubled by crowds and traffic. A bit chilly in winter but after heating had been on for half a day or so we thawed out. Would be absolutely perfect in warmer months. Accommodating host with easy check in arrangements. Thanks Kim!
