The House, surrounded by vineyards and olive groves, is located where the "Pisani" mountains meet the plain of Lucca. In the southern hills lies a thick Mediterranean vegetation, mostly pine trees, suitable for long walks. The House is composed by three floors. On the first floor there are a kitchen, a large living room where you can have lunch, a small laundry room and a comfortable bathroom. On the second floor there are two bedrooms and a large lounge with tv, pool table and tourist material (guides and maps). On the third floor there are three bedrooms and a bathroom. The House has been furnished with family furniture in peasant style. The kitchen has a large BBQ (wood burning). The swimming pool is open from May to September, and has a wooden sun deck where you can enjoy an excellent panorama. In the garden, where you can cook and eat quietly, there is a large stone table under a wooden arbor, a wood burning BBQ and a sink.
It is possible to use public transport and shuttle service (upon request).
A supermarket, pharmacy, post office and ATMs are 2 km from the House.
Lucca is 5 km far, and it is accessible by a scenic walk under monumental stone arches that used to carry the water in town.
The house is: 25 km from the beaches of Versilia and Viareggio Carnival 70 km from Florence and 30 km from Pisa. During the grape and olive harvest you can actively participate and you can visit the social oil mill in the area.
You can also buy home made oil, wine, jams, preserves, vegetables and seasonal fruits.
We organize (on request):
- tours on Pisani mountains, on the Apuan Alps, on the shores of Massaciuccoli Lake and the Park of Sanrossore, both on foot and on horseback;
- Italian cooking courses;
- lunch or dinner with typical dishes;
- guided visits to the most important cities of Tuscany
Thus, you can decide either to rest by the pool or to immerse into the beautiful landscape that surrounds you.
