We speak:

In older times the house was the last relay station to the UNESCO world heritage site of the 'Cadouin Abbey'. This was once a part of the famous pilgrimage of Saint Jacques de Compostelle.

Unfortunately not much of that history is known today. However, what still remains is the old bakery (soon to be restored) that fed the pilgrims and monks that travelled and lived here.

We can't say enough nice things about our stay here. The house and grounds are incredibly lovely down to the smallest detail (flowers, soaps, etc.) And as lovely as the house is, I think our hosts, Aline and Wulf, are even lovelier. We appreciated their generous hospitality. The countryside is beautiful and the home is located well. I would highly recommend this beautiful home.

Our 2 day stay with Adeline and Wulf during a road trip through France was unquestionably one of the highlights. The room was gorgeous, comfortable, and spacious, as the above loft space that left more than ample room for three people (or four). Despite the heat outside, it remained cool and dark inside overnight, making for a replenishing sleep. They provided everything we could possibly need, including local recommendations and greeting us with a fabulous bottle of regional wine. Lastly, an evening swim in the pool after a long day visiting the surrounding Dordogne area made for perfect relaxation. I would highly recommend to anyone passing through the area for a day or two, or looking for a longer country escape. We loved our stay - Thank you so much!!

This house is a little slice of heaven in the French countryside run by the most wonderful hosts. I cannot recommend enough for a peaceful, relaxing holiday. The house and location is more beautiful than the pictures suggest. He rooms are large and beautifully decorated. Wulf and Adeline are very generous and super helpful. They gave us great advice on where to visit. We will definitely be going back!

What a gem this place is. Wulf and Adeline have created a real haven for their guests; from the immaculate, tastefully decorated rooms to the hammocks in the garden and the beautiful outdoor pool to the fresh figs picked from the garden and delivered daily to your room, this is hands down the best airbnb experience we have ever had. Our room was much bigger than expected and was well equipped for our stay there- a bottle of local wine on arrival, towels both for the pool and shower, tea and coffee station, dressing gowns, freshly baked cookies and the added bonus of it being cleaned daily all made it the perfect place to unwind. We had also never seen such an enormous bed! The option of breakfast served in their fruit orchard is not to be missed, especially the homemade jams and fresh fruit, and if you don't fancy venturing beyond the idyllic and tranquil farmhouse setting then their bbq in the garden is free to use for guests. Most importantly, Wulf and Adeline are warm, welcoming and considerate hosts who do everything in their power to make your stay as perfect as possible. We'll be back for more figs!

Such a lovely place!!! Such a quiet place!!! Such a confortable room!!! We have had a wonderful stay. Wulf and Adeline are so nice, and there is so beautiful things to see and visit around. We will come back !!!!!

What can we say, a truly wonderful place to stay in this beautiful region of France! The house itself was a beautiful gem in the heart of the France countryside and the grounds truly breathtaking. However the hosts, Adeline and Wolf make this stay a real highlight and memorable occasion for any visitor. We will definitely be returning with family and friends and would recommend it to anyone for central location, beautiful scenery and an incredible, luxury stay. Thank you Wolf and Adeline for making this such a lovely experience.

Staying at Adeline & Wulf's place was a really great experience. Everything is done to make you feel at home! Many thanks for your warm welcome and your wonderful house!

Hi I'm Wulf,

I'm 37 years old and am currently living in France with my beautiful girlfriend Adeline. We met on an expedition ship to Antarctica and fell in love under the stars (and the cold) and decided to fulfil our shared dream of country life in France.

We like to travel and enjoy meeting fellow travellers. Everyone has a tale to tell and it is always interesting to hear and share.

I was born and grew up in South East Asia and have travelled and lived in many different countries and find Airbnb a fantastic way to continue my nomadic life and outlook on life.

My background is IT, logistics and everything in between. At the moment I am more of a renovator and gardener. My office is the garden.

I'm open, talkative and interested in pretty much anything under the sun; especially History and Archaeology.
