“Oh! This is very nice. You will like this place.” the cab driver said when we gave him the address to Guilluame’s apartment. The cab driver was right. Guilluame greeted us at the curb as we stepped out of the cab.
The canal, right outside the front door of the apartment building, is a well-used location for evening picnics sitting along the quay. The neighborhood is a fun, active area with abundance of cafes and restaurants if you get tired of quay-side dinning. We used the apartment as a base to explore much of Paris and were always glad to get back “home” to the neighborhood.
Guilluame is a pleasure to work with - responsive, thorough and helpful. The apartment is as described. It was very comfortable for our one-month stay. One wall is two-thirds glass with sliding glass doors and a window that overlooks a beautiful view of the Belleville neighborhood. So, the apartment felt spacious and open and very quiet. We were sorry to leave and would love to stay in it again.
