Huckleberry Hide-a-Way
General Rules

Our cabin is located in Huckleberry Village in Sunshine Valley, located about 20 km east of Hope, BC off Highway #3 (Hope/Princeton Highway). If you (website hidden) map Lakeside Drive, Hope, BC, you will get driving instructions.

Please note: We only rent out the cabins when we are in Sunshine Valley. As we are a gated area, we need to make arrangements ahead of a time to meet at the gate and let you in, show you to the cabin, give you a brief rundown and give you keys to the cabin and the gate. As there is no cell service and we have no phone of our own, it is important to arrange a time to meet at the gate ahead of time. The gate and our cabin are not close together, so it is important to be on time as we cannot contact you/or you us when we are at the gate.

To keep our cabin safe, clean and enjoyable, we ask guests to follow these basic rules.
We know that this list seems long, but most of these requests are just common sense.
We hope you have a great stay.

Guest terms and conditions limit the occupancy to 5 persons. Sorry no RV's, campers or motorhomes may be parked on the premises for the purposes of extra sleeping capacity. There is only parking available for 1 vehicle at the cabin. There is overflow parking available at the end of the road.

Check-out time is generally 12:00 unless previous arrangements have been made. Please put all dirty towels in the bathtub, make sure all garbage is in garbage bags and placed in garbage can outside. Please ensure all dishes that have been used are washed and put back. Expectations are that the cabin be left in the same condition that guests find it. We stayed in one of the cabins during the Fat Dog 120 weekend. All in our group were running one of the races and the cabin was perfect as a place to rest and shower. It was very clean and had a nice sized kitchen for us to do some light cooking. There is no wifi/cell service, but there is a collection of games to play and the surrounding area is beautiful for some outdoor fun. The only negative thing I can think of is that the hot water tank does take some time to re-fill. This wasn't a major issue though, we were careful not to take multiple showers in a row. I highly recommend staying here! Corinna & Gord were extremely friendly, helpful and welcoming. Our stay was really quite pleasant.

This was an interesting spot. In some ways not as isolated as expected, but a lovely, well appointed cabin. The neighborhood is eclectic. Arrangements for access worked very well.

Cabin was clean, scenery and location were great. Host met us with keys and showed us every thing we needed to know, Corrrina and Gordon were great hosts, very flexible with check in times and responded to messages very promptly, 5 stars from the Emerson family we will be coming back! Ps of Your coming from Seattle, this is a great stop for the cascade loop!

Great place, nice location - close to Hope/stores but secluded. We will definitely be back again, great place to get away for a few days and unplug!

The perfect weekend getaway for us. Gord was a great host and saved us from some car problems. The check in procedure works if you communicate well. The cabin is clean, warm and cosy. One thing you notice is that all the bedding, pots, cutlery, plates are all new. Not your usual mismatched old spares. Thanks for a great weekend.

We loved staying in this log cabin in a secluded gated community. It was very cosy, comfortable & giving a wonderful Canadian experience. Gord was particularly helpful & enthusiastic - the perfect host! Highly recommended to all for the wilderness experience.

Great ,friendly, log cabin, unfortunately only there for a couple of days.... homely, clean, quiet and rustic. Would highly recommend
