This is the perfect place for exploring Barcelona! We were looking for a place to celebrate my parents 40th wedding anniversary and wanted a central but private apartment. This apartment has both! Whether you go by foot or take the metro or bus..everything is nearby. The L3 metro is nearby and when you arrive from the airport you can also take the 'normal' bus 46 to to very last stop after Placa d' Espanya, Paral-Lel. It's just a 15 minute walk to the apartment. In a few minutes you are in the more crowded areas but you can also choose to relax between the local people at the square this apartment is located on. Also with enough restaurants and shops. The apartment has everything you need and is spacious enough for 4 people. The fact that it has a seperate bedroom is perfect. Good and spacious bathroom and kitchen with all amenities. Montse is a great host who will do everything to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Very friendly and great communication. She just makes you feel like home right away ;-) Don't hesitate and just book..you won't be dissapointed :-) Montse, thanks again for everything and other AirBnbers..enjoy your stay!
Montse was a great host - she met us at the flat after a late flight, allowed us to leave luggage there before a late flight back and gave us some helpful advice about getting to and from the airport. The flat was cosy and comfortable for our family of two adults and two teenagers. It's beautifully sunny and light inside and great to sit on the balconies with a cup of coffee in the morning. We really loved the location - 5 minutes away from the beautiful gardens of Montjuic - overlooking a little square which has some good places to drink and eat - and very close to shops to buy fruit and vegetables and other things. The vibe of Poble Sec is great - it's a diverse area, full of life but a relief to get away from the busy tourist areas. It's walking distance to the centre and to the beach but really close to the metro and buses if walking isn't your thing!
Great location and a walkable distance to a lot of tourist spots and about five mins walk to the metro if you need to go further a field. There's a lovely little square just outside with some nice bar's and restaurants and a small pizzeria that serves some of the nicest pizzas I've tasted. If your reading this review then your obviously thinking of booking so just do it, it's a cracking little place.
