Philippe's apartment is close to so many wonderful things - a cheese shop right downstairs, a beautiful church across the street, a book store two doors down, and too many shops and restaurants within a stone's throw to mention here. We never took metro as it was so easy to walk every where from this central location. Pros: Exceptional location, can't be beat Lovely furniture, china & silver - charmingly decorated in a very efficient space Smell of fresh bread baking throughout the day & church bells ringing... Many books in multiple languages both about the local scene and just for light reading Excellent wifi Fantastic customer service from beginning to end - communications all along Accurate pictures and descriptions Cons: Stairs were fine for me & my children - that said, it would be difficult for seniors, children under 5, carrying strollers, or anyone very overweight or with health problems. I had some challenges bringing our luggage up & down the stairs. Beds were adequate but not very comfortable, could use softer pillows but perhaps that is a personal preference A lot of noise in the early morning - several buildings nearby are getting reconstruction but that may just be a temporary situation Thanks again to Phillipe and his fantastic team! We loved our visit!!
Philippe's place was perfect for our group. We were traveling with 4 adults, and it was our first trip to Paris. We took advantage of the pick up service from the airport, which made getting into the city very easy. We arrived early, so Philippe (via his assistant, Connie) allowed us to drop off our bags prior to check-in. The place was very clean, very comfortable, and the location was ideal. We were able to walk to all of the major sites (and the Metro), and there were plenty of eateries nearby. It was very convenient to have Internet, too. Philippe was very responsive prior to arrival for my many questions. I highly recommend this place!
