This nice room with private bath is for one woman (sorry guys, we just aren't set up for you). The room is very cozy, is carpeted, and is on the top (third) floor with views of the treetops and the spires of local churches. The space on our third floor is small but includes a single bed furnishings, enough floor space for yoga (smile) and a small private tiled bathroom with shower. This is a nonsmoking house.
Amenities include free wifi, free street parking, and we are close to public transit for easy access to key destinations and attractions throughout the city.
I also speak reasonably good Spanish.
Our guest has access to WiFi, the kitchen, laundry, living room and lovely back yard in nice weather. We ask that you invite no one in to our home that we aren't acquainted with.
We like to interact with guests, and have made some life long friends through Airbnb, but we certainly don't demand that guests interact! Let us know your preferences.
The people who have found our spot convenient are those visiting Einstein Hospital or these universities: LaSalle University, Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, Drexel University Medical School, Philadelphia University and Temple University.
No smoking. Check out time by 10 am, check in time 4 pm. We are amenable to working out other arrangements, given enough notice. If you want continental breakfast, we would like to be able to finish serving you by 10 am.
I love to travel, and have travelled a lot, but rarely these days. Airbnb is an affordable alternative to what I consider to be impersonal, cold and airless hotels and motels, and the normal run of B and B's which can be too expensive. I like people, and would be a great guest: thoughtful, quiet, clean.
These same qualities make me a great host, too. Additionally, I have travelled a lot (and lived) in Latin America, and retain the ability to speak a bit of Spanish.
