I am a real "do-it-your-self" person. The pictures show my handiwork. I love shaping my environment into what I want it to be. I've painted by home inside and out several times, took out a swimming pool and turned it into a garden pretty much by myself, and built brick pathways in the front and back yards. Call me crazy but I really enjoy doing these kinds of things.
Professionally, I've been self-employed for almost 30 years as a consultant. I speak at conferences, develop corporate training, coach professionals in their speaking skills, and facilitate retreats. My work circulates around leadership, communication, and personal/organizational energy. My work has taken me to 27 states, Mexico, Canada, and Romania.
I was born and raised in Cleveland, got my bachelors and masters from Bowling Green State University, taught high school and supervised special ed teachers, lived in Washington, DC for 13 years, and have been in Eugene, Oregon for 24 years.
My three children are young adults and out of the house so I've turned their bedrooms into my Bed & Breakfast rooms. I have a large, beautiful home with lots of room so my B & B rooms is a way to share it.
I have traveled all my adult life around the states as well as overseas and have stayed in many bed and breakfasts and hotels of all quality. I know that where a person stays greatly affects the quality of their overall trip. I'll do my best to make your stay pleasant, fun, and relaxing. Welcome.
