Our place combines the convenience for visiting the Austin area, while also being far from the maddening crowd. It's very peaceful and quiet here, with views to die for. Nature in spades is what we have to offer. Humming birds galore! Come see.
A guest cottage, located 200 feet behind our residence, is about 1 hour from downtown Austin, Texas and Austin Bergstrom International Airport. Accommodates 2 couples or a family of 4 or 5.

To a beautiful cabin with an incredible unobstructed view looking out over Cypress Creek canyon, to an incredibly beautiful deck built on a huge boulder overlooking Cypress Creek canyon about 100 feet below the cabin; to two beautiful parks close by and one beautiful nature preserve close by, to Hill Country wineries nearby (the closest is less than a mile from our gate), and much more.
As much or as little as you like. We always enjoy meeting new folks and are happy to share our knowledge of the local area with our guests.
Be sure to bring good walking shoes if you want to take the nature trail down to our deck overlooking the creek canyon.
Smoking is only allowed outside cottage. Pets are allowed, but only if pre-approved, non-aggressive and potty-trained. Weight limit of 25 pounds unless exempted by conversation with host. Also there is a pet fee of $25 per pet, which is not collected by airbnb and needs to be paid to host upon arrival. Need to be on leash on grounds. We do not allow loud partying, but normal household sounds are fine.
I'm Patti Boyd, and my husband David and I opened Cypress Creek Retreat B&B a little over a year ago. We have thoroughly enjoyed being "innkeepers," albeit in a small way. We think we have a beautiful little slice of paradise here, and we enjoy sharing it with respectful guests who share our love of nature. We don't mind pets who are well behaved and not too too large. David and I are both retired, or semi-retired in my case, but there is always something to do around here. We like making new friends and hosting guests.
