Stay in the oldest house in the village. Leave your car at home, train-station and bus-stop are nearby. Make trips to Liechtenstein, Chur and go skiing. Feel at home.
+++ please read before booking +++
+++ note: i cannot accept bookings more than four weeks in advance +++
take a bath in lake walen (walensee) in summer or go skiing in the areas pizol and flumserberg. in the evening have a beer in the village of mels, cook a meal in the kitchen or - at least in summer - relax in the garden.
the bed in your room is 54 inches (1,40 meters) wide, thus big enough for two, if you like each other. bathroom and kitchen are shared.
breakfast is not included. it's available for a 10-CHF-extra-charge you would need to pay in cash once you're here. anyhow, you're welcome to bring you're own stuff and cook coffee or tea in the morning.
smoking is allowed in the kitchen, so please don't be a frantic non-smoker if you want to come here. in the room itself smoking has never been allowed and is not permitted now. parking you car is possible all day for one small one, for a bigger one only during the night.
as i've got a job, your arrival may not be possible at all hours a day, often only from 6 or 7 pm, and sometimes you would have to leave until 8 am. it's not like that everday, so please ask me for the very day you want to come here.
bookings for only one or two nights many weeks in advance are difficult for me. i mostly don't know myself if i would be here to rent the room or not. so please don't be angry if i have to say "no" even though the calendar might say the room would be available. i just cannot update it much in advance due to my work.
this location is gay-lgbt-friendly. so don't worry if you are gay, lesbian, otherwise lgbt - or straight.
please have some information about yourself in your profile or tell me at least a little about you and your travel-plans in your request. i just like to know roughly who wants to stay.
any questions? just ask! see you in switzerland :-)
bathroom, kitchen, garden, washing-mashine.
i always try to help: should you have any questions or problems, i'll do my best to make your stay in switzerland as comfortable as possible.
passport or id is required for check-in. smoking is allowed in the kitchen and outside, but not in your room. shoes need to stay outside. slippers are provided. please clean whatever you use. please note, this is not a party-location - i like it quiet and to sleep at night ;-) you can watch movies on you labtop without a headset, make telephone-calls and have marital quarrels all night in the kitchen, but please not in your room after 10 pm. and be aware that you're responsible for any damages you or your pet causes. apart from those few rules feel welcome in friendly surroundings ;-)
i'm a down to earth guy and i love it ... it took me quite a while to get there ;-) i love country life, my house, my garden. i don't care much about big-city-attitudes, i lived in a bis city long enough. i like to get to know other peolple, discuss economic, political or cultural issues. i think i'm quite open-minded, i'm interested in other people's views, especially from abroad, for me that's a kind of enrichment to my own focus. i love to read, write, cook; in the summer i spent a lot of time to look after my plants in the garden. as long as you don't celebrate extreme political views or honor discrimination of any kind you're welcome and i will try to make your stay as comfortable as possible.
