*PLEASE NOTE* Renovation work currently being done to the balcony. Expect noise and workers in the apartment between approx. 7am-4pm Mon-Fri. Weekends OK. Price has been reduced accordingly.
My modern, comfy apartment is in heart of Hawthorn; one of Melbourne's most beautiful and safe inner-city suburbs. Walk to Swinburne Uni, trains or catch trams in front to St Kilda beach.
The apartment has a great kitchen, huge living and dining area and one of Melbourne's best café's right downstairs.
Enjoy a high quality queen-sized bed and ample built-in space for luggage.
The lounge has a 42" TV with Netflix, Foxtel (sports package), PS4, Xbox360 and Wii as well as a selection of TV shows and movies. There is free wifi, board games and lots of books.
You'll be provided with a welcome basket full of tea, water and some snacks. There are also basics (oil, salt, pepper, condiments etc.) for cooking on the bench in the kitchen. Toaster, kettle, gas stove and an electric oven are there to use. I do not have a microwave.
Instant coffee supplied and if you're after something nicer, some of Melbourne's best coffee is served at the cafe on the ground floor.
The bathroom has Aesop shampoo, conditioner and body cleanser.
You'll have access to the lobby, elevator, apartment and a 24/7 gym across the road (single guest at a time access only sorry). There is visitor car parking at the rear of the building. Balcony is off limits during the construction sorry, they're currently retiling.
If I'm not home you can reach me on my mobile (cell) anytime.
*PLEASE NOTE* There is construction work currently being done to the building. If staying, expect some loud noise between approx. 8am-4pm on weekdays. Weekends are quiet. Price has been reduced accordingly.
As some of the work includes the balcony in my apartment it is currently off limits to guests. There may also be some plastic in the lounge protecting the carpet from dust etc.
Do note that we're on Glenferrie Road, trams can be heard running until late (roughly midnight weekdays, 1am weekends) each night. Personally, I LOVE the sounds of the city and wouldn't have it any other way.
Trams are all part of the Melbourne experience and while the road noise in the apartment is not loud by any stretch, if you're expecting COMPLETE silence or darkness at night this is probably not the listing for you.
The building is strictly non-smoking and the apartment is definitely not suited for pets or children. As this is my main place of residence I ask that you respect the space as well as the peace and wellbeing of my neighbours.
Designated food and beverages listed in the "My Space" section above are completely yours to use. Other food and drink in the house however should be considered off limits (I certainly don't mind sharing, but please ask first!)
Parties, super loud music / TV, smoking (even on the balcony outside), inviting unapproved guests and general thugery are all, as you might have guessed, not permitted.
It's also greatly appreciated if you keep communal areas relatively tidy during your stay.
