This garden level condo is full of character. It's ready to host you and yours for one night or many.
Two bedrooms: The master has a queen bed, large closet and private vanity. The second bedroom has a bunk bed with a full on the bottom and a single on top.
People who love this space are small groups of friends, couples, biz travelers, road trippers, cannabis consumers, LGBTQ folks, overnighters, honeymooners, concert-goers, students, families, working professionals, X-men and pets.
Airbnb has given this condo a second life. After housing family and friends for 15+ years, I moved in in late 2014. Within a year it became an Airbnb and has since undergone major improvements. The floors, ceilings, paint, furniture, hvac, and cabinetry have all been replaced within the last two years.
The master bedroom features a queen sized bed, walk in closet and private vanity. A full/single bunk-bed in the other bedroom is perfect for kids, second couples or non-snuggling guests. Of course there will always be clean linens and towels, and many comfy blankets and pillows.
The TV in the living room is equipped with a Chromecast enabled for your Netflix, YouTube, Pandora or other streaming service with free wifi provided.
Simple breakfast materials will be on hand including cereal, milk, oatmeal and fruit as well as other items as I bring them. The kitchen is limited but improving, and open to you! Feel free to use any appliances and utensils. General cooking supplies will be stocked.
Guests have private access to the condominium. I presently lay my head at my father's house, so during all bookings, the place is completely yours and clear of my personal items. Feel free to make yourself at home here. The bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen, living room, library nook and front stoop are at your disposal during your stay. Coin-operated laundry is 10 steps away from my front door.
I know pre-trip communication is a concern of many guests. I strive to keep you as informed and up to date as possible up to your arrival. I live within five minutes drive, and keep my phone on at all times to attend to any concerns. I hope to perform almost all key transfers and property tours in person. I love traveling and sharing travel stories, but I also respect the boundaries of privacy and expect guests to do the same. I can be reached easily by airbnb messenger, text or call to answer any questions or concerns you may have.
It is my hope to build some synergy between this Airbnb listing and my business as a Realtor with Keller Williams here in Denver. For any guests considering buying or selling in Denver, I'd love to be your guide to the wild and crazy market that Denver real estate has become.
Tips for securing a reservation at this listing (Not necessary but will help):
1. Send me your name as well as the names of those coming with you. Also, how you know each other.
2. Tell me what your trip is about, ie: business or pleasure or whatever.
3. Pass along your arrival and departure details so I can plan for cleaning and key transfer for your reservation.
Hosting on AirBnB is a work in progress. I expect to steadily improve my guest experience by learning on the job. Please share your tips, insights and suggestions for how I can better provide your ideal travel experience.
I control the pricing, and base it off of my intuition of what I believe I can secure. This rate may change in either direction on a daily basis as a result of using that tool or my own messing with it. If I think I can get a significantly higher rate during a high season (holidays, 420), I will maximize my earnings and provide exceptional value to every guest.
This Airbnb listing is licensed and legal! My license # is 2016-BFN-0006902. Be wary of booking at unlicensed listings. Enforcement of new regulations will begin Jan. 1, 2017, including removal of unlicensed listings.
Some things you may not like- No dishwasher, no basic cable, no in-unit laundry. Pets have stayed here and weed has been smoked here, though I clean between every reservation, there can be lingering effects from both. Finding the condo the very first time can be difficult.
The condo is 420 friendly. Smoking cannabis is allowed inside the house with its own specific set of rules. If this is offensive, I apologize, but you may be better off finding another location.
Smoking of tobacco or other substances or taking other hard drugs is not allowed inside. No blowtorches. No incense. No fires of any kind but to light your weed.
No pets allowed to be left alone in the condo at any time for any reason.
Out of respect for my neighbors, no loud music past 11:00pm or before 8:00am.
There is no curfew or hours during which guests must be out, but I encourage travelers to explore the city. It is generally not a good idea to rent the condo to simply crash in front of the television. Please, go out and enjoy all Denver has to offer!
My home is one of toleration and respect. I welcome all LGBTQ folks. Black, white, brown, purple, yellow -- anybody can be welcome. Old and young get in, as do the short and the tall. From guests of any stripe, I ask for clear communication, respect of my place, and honest feedback. If we have that, we are golden.
Hi! I'm a 5th generation Denver native with roots and pride in my place. I love welcoming people to the Mile High City and putting our best foot forward through this listing and service.
I worked as a Peace Corps Volunteer (Morocco 06-08), and as an English teacher in spectacular countries like Japan, Israel and Costa Rica. I got a lil skill in Arabic, Japanese, Hebrew and Spanish.
In between, I traveled and traveled and traveled some more. From the top bunk of a crowded passenger car on the Trans-Siberian Railway, to five-star hotels in Jerusalem and everywhere in between, I stayed everywhere there was to stay. I learned to love the hospitality game. Youth hostels have my heart. One day I hope to open my own here in Denver or elsewhere awesome (any ideas?). For now, Airbnb is the space and place where I hone my hospitality chops.
In addition to my love for hospitality, I am a licensed Real Estate Broker in the state of Colorado. For any guests thinking of making a move to Colorado, or who could use broker's services, please let me know. I'd love to be of help in any way I can.
