Spacious en-suite double room, with desk, TV and easy chair.
Tea and coffee facilities in the room, and we can arrange for you to use the microwave in our kitchen if required for your evening meal (with use of cutlery, plates etc.).
Separate breakfast/sitting room for guests with great views.
We are happy for guests to use the microwave and you are welcome to have fridge space for cold storage. Tea and coffee making facility in bedroom.
Soft shoes/slippers preferred for use in the house - or pad around in socks!
Arrival and leaving times are flexible - tho' let us know! Also, if you expect to return late or when we are out, we will give you instructions about key and entry.
We would appreciate keeping the TV and talking at low volume after 11pm!
I live with my husband Rob on a 6 acre small holding. We have a small wood, that we planted six years ago, and a paddock for grazing animals.
I am a retired science teacher, and Rob is a picture framer. However, we have worked abroad together - in Honduras and Uganda, and other employment over time has included, for myself, a nursing auxiliary followed by several years at the National Botanic Garden. Rob is an accomplished builder; in fact we built the home we now live in.
Over the years we have welcomed many visitors, both from overseas and the UK. We enjoy meeting people of all ages and from all walks of life. If you have some energy at the end of the day, you are welcome to share our sitting room for a drink or even a game of cards. We hope you enjoy your stay and will do all we can to make your visit comfortable.
