In Navarrenx you will find several bars, some with live music, restaurants, antique shops, art gallery, artisanal markets, cycle hire, boulangeries, charcuteries and banks. There are tennis courts, a large outdoor swimming pool and petanque area. Navarrenx sits on one of the main pilgrim routes to Santiago de Compostela and the friendly international travellers are a regular sight as they arrive to spend the night in the hostel or other accommodation within the town.
Every year Navarrenx hosts the 'World Champion Salmon Fishing' competition in the magnificent river, the 'Gave d'Oloron' where you can also try canoeing, rafting and kayaking. If you prefer walking or cycling there are hundreds of kilometres of quiet roads to do both, or cycle off-road on the well marked forest routes. Horse riding and hot air ballooning are available locally too.
We hope that you will find everything in the house to make your stay comfortable. We ask that you leave the house as you find it.
We ask for a damage deposit /caution in advance .
There is to be No Smoking in the house.
We welcome well-behaved pets ( and their owners !)
