Guests occupy the full home. We live down the street, close enough to be of immediate assistance if needed but we do not intrude on our guests otherwise. Please note, we are required by law to collect the 7% Kentucky state sales and transient taxes and the 8.5% Louisville Metro Transient Tax. These taxes are not collected by Airbnb. All Airbnb hosts are legally required to collect and remit the taxes. They can be paid on or before arrival by cash or Visa, MC or Discover.
This home has digital locks, allowing check in at whenever is convenient to you after check in time. A house information sheet covers heat/ac, wifi and mechanicals.

1- Although we welcome guests of all ages, this home is NOT child proof in any way. It was built in 1900 and the stairs, landings, etc. do not meet modern code. Small children must be supervised at all times for their own safety.
2.Although this house is only a 2 minute walk to a vibrant restaurant and bar scene, the house is on a residential street with small lot sizes. No noise or disturbance will be tolerated. Use of patio and porch is restricted to before 9pm on weeknights, 10pm on weekends. Only the number of guests listed in reservation are permitted, no additional guests are permitted. Bachelor groups of more than 7 men are not permitted. We do permit up to 6 couples or family groups of up to 13 persons.
3. No additional bedding (sleeping bags, blow up mattresses, etc) are permitted with the exception of portable crib/packnplay for an infant.
4. We do not expect our guests to clean, but do ask that no wet towels be left on our antique wood floors.
5. Like all hosts, we are required by law to collect from all guests the Kentucky sales/transient taxes and the Louisville Metro transient tax (just as you would pay in a local hotel). Airbnb does not currently collect these for us.
