Self-contained, furnished studio in Old Marston village, Oxford.
Own entrance, shower-room, Wi-Fi, fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster, double bed & sofa bed.
Clean and fresh space in this lovely village close to city centre.
Old Marston village is a beautiful part of the city of Oxford. It's a fifteen minute bike ride into the city centre (we can rent guests bikes if required) and is also connected by frequent busses to all parts of the town. There are two lovely pubs in the area, one by the river.
The studio was converted from an old blacksmith's workshop about eight years ago and is completely self contained. There is a shower room and a mezzanine level with a double bed. If guests prefer not to use the steps to get to the mezzanine, there is also a day bed which turns into a very comfortable double bed. The accommodation could also work for a couple with children as the children could sleep on the pull out bed. Please note there is an additional charge per person to the advertised price if more than two guests are staying. This is £15 per adult per night or £10 per child per night.
The studio has its own entrance, accessed past our vegetable patch. There is no garden but there is a local pub very close by with a huge garden next to the river.
We can provide breakfast if required and other meals depending on when guests are staying (this would be at extra charge) .
We will be present in the main house when guests are staying and are happy to share information about the city where we have lived for over ten years.
We expect guests to be relatively quiet when staying as the studio is attached to next-door's cottage.
We do not allow smoking or pets.
I am a mother of two, training to be an Osteopath and have lived in Oxford for fifteen years.
I like to eat good food, cook, spend time with family and friends, play tennis, read books, build lego, look at Instagram, canoe on the river, lift weights, play on the beach, sit in the sun, walk with my dog, travel abroad, meet new people, explore new ideas and buy new shoes.
