Our 100 year old adobe house is located in the heart of the Santa Fe Baca District. We are 1.8 miles from the plaza--about a 35-40 minute walk and a 10 minute drive. You will have your own private entrance and private bathroom. There are walking trails close by and great restaurants are in walking distance. We are a 15-20 minute walk to the Santa Fe Farmers Market, and we are two blocks from public transportation. You are free to use our wifi, the kitchen, living room and washer/Dryer.
The room has a private entrance and bathroom. You will be sharing the house with me, my husband, our very friendly roommate and our two cats. We are usually pretty quite but know that we do live here and the house can be active at times. If you are looking for a house full of good energy you have found the spot--there is however times (not late at night) when you may hear us talking, cooking or watching TV. In the summer, this old adobe stays pretty cool--we have no air conditioning but a fan does the trick (usually). The winters can be cold in Santa Fe. We provide our guests with a floor heater and an electric wall heater that keep the room warm in the winter-- the commons space however, can be chilly during November- February. We have a newly remodeled kitchen that you are more then welcome to use! Please know this space is only available for one guest per night. Also this room does not have a TV, but feel free to use the community TV in the living room.
Mi casa es su casa. Feel free to hangout in the living room to watch Netflix or wash your clothes. The newly remodeled kitchen is available to you anytime of day. Your room has a coffee maker, electric kettle and microwave -- Coffee is always available to you!!!
I am available to help you with anything through out your stay. We love speaking to guests about their travels but also respect your privacy. There are also times when we are very busy and may not be home to interact with our guests much.
We are a young bilingual household--we speak Spanish as well as English.
Please respect that our room is only listed/available for one guest per night. No pets except for the two kitties that are already here. Have fun!
Hi! My name is Alicia Castro Chicol. I am 32 years old and married to my husband, Luis Chicol of 5 years. When I am not working in the local film industry, I am cooking with my husband, traveling around Central America, watching Netflix, volunteering at the International Folk Art Museum, or going to a Zumba class. We try to be as wheat free as possible and love making/eating a good salad. I am new to hosting on airbnb and can't wait to start sharing our house with you.
