Dear Jana, it was surely not wrongly communicated! I uploaded the wrong "special rate" after I communicated AND AGREED on a price with you. Before you booked we agreed on a monthly price. When i uploaded it, i thought that i am uploading it monthly. Instead it was calculated over your 2 months stay. I only realized the mistake later on and approached you about the fact that you are paying 50% of what we had discussed. you must have noticed that my "special offer" was 50% less than discussed before you booked, but you chose to not point it out. I was definitely not vague about anything and approached you directly and honestly.
I offered you a discount for the inconvenience.
At the end after many emails back and forth i even told you to not pay what i had originally discussed with you, but to pay what you feel is fair (you even made me an offer of what you think is fair) you instead decided to leave without a word and pay.
I gave you the bigger room because it was available and offered you to use the second room and store your stuff in the MASSIVE wardrobe. The wardrobe in the one room is small yes, but its usually enough for one person who travels.
Bugs, like you call geckos and insects, which wander into the house from time to time are normal - this is Africa!
And if you would have told me about the fridge, I would have certainly fixed it.
I didn't see any leaking water in the last couple of days when i was there.
All in all a sad experience, caused by a small mistake on my side. But hey, there is always a first and I will surely double and triple check my "special offers" next time before uploading and hope for kinder tenants who appreciate that we are all human and make mistakes from time to time.
