Welcome to our lovely quiet home! We chose to be on the main square of the village so we could enjoy the life a french village has to offer.
The square has cafes, bakeries a french butcher and a supermarket. Enjoy the weekly Thursday Farmer's Market with local produce and regional specialties such as foie gras, walnut wine and cheese.
You will occupy two floors. The house suits 4 people best, but there is the possibility of 5 if 3 people (children) do not mind sharing the attic together. We offer 2 double beds, a pull-out couch that can sleep 2 and 1 single chaise-lounge.
The main floor is private.
The First floor has a Master Bedroom, Full Bathroom, Separate WC and a Full Kitchen and with sofa, dishwasher, convection oven, stove top, fridge and of course all your dishware, cutlery and cooking utensils. It seats 5 for meals.
The Attic Floor (40m2) is open concept with a double bed, living-room area with TV and pullout couch and a large dining table. There is a divider provided for privacy.
You will have access to 1st & 2nd floors.
All appliances available for use.
*Please note: Typical Old French House - The stairs are quite steep, not easily accessible for children under 6 and elderly people.
You will be given a code for the door to enter the house.
A manual is in the kitchen with local sightseeing details, emergency numbers ie-police, hospitals and local doctors, local transport information and wifi password.
A local friend is available for emergencies only.
Parking: available at no cost throughout the village. There are 2 large parking lots behind the house except during Market Day on Thursday.
Do not park behind blue lines without the Blue Parking Time Wheel for your dashboard. It is available in the house information kit.
1) There is a 45 euro housekeeping fee per stay.
2) This is a lovely French village, please be respectful of small village life and others living on the square.
3) No smoking or pets.
4) Please leave the house as you found it.
I'm an Australian voice teacher, who loves to travel and loves opera and classical music. I love Europe and enjoy not only encouraging other to explore my favorite places France, Italy and Germany but sharing my experiences with others.
