I have lived in DC since 1978 and love playing a tour guide for visitors. I am always to help with trip planning and sharing my favorite places to visit in DC.
Planning a special event? Please let me know how I can help out!
I really enjoy being right here in DC. Museums are close and mostly FREE! The National Cathedral is really beautiful and the view from the top is amazing. I love visiting the National Parks which include The Appalachian Trail, Great Falls, Turkey Run, and much, much more.
There are biking trails along the C&O Canal and from DC to Cumberland, Maryland.
There are running trails along the Potomac River and along the Mall Between the Lincoln Memorial and The Capitol Building.
You can canoe in many areas around DC or sail. There are fabulous crew meets in Georgetown. People play Soccer near the mall.
I love looking at the weekend section and running downtown to visit a new exhibit, see a play, try a new restaurant or visiting a park where history has taken place.
This property is surrounded by history. The first airport in the US is here in College Park.
One of the biggest battles was in Bladensburg just around the corner. Univ of Maryland is just 10 minutes away.
The National Archives is the best place to research your own family history and I have had guests from come just for this!
This is my full time job and I love sharing DC with people that want to visit. I try to be available 24/7 for any questions or concerns you may have during your visit.
Looking forward to meeting you!
All my best!
