Enjoy your own flat in a Victorian townhouse from the 1840's. You have your own entrance into the annex that was a corner shop for 120 years. We're turned it into a comfortable and spacious two bedroom flat, where we once lived ourselves.
Very conveniently located to the West End and Central London, but in a quiet residential neighbourhood of canals, villas and mansion blocks.
A two bedroom flat with great access to the center of London. Located near Paddington Station and the canals of Little Venice and Maida Vale. A residential leafy area minutes from the West End.
It's 15 minutes from the door to Oxford Circus. Quick access from Heathrow Airport on the Heathrow Express. Minutes from the Circle, District, Hammersmith & City and Bakerloo underground lines. A short tube ride to Westfield shopping center; a 20 minute stroll to Portobello market or Regents park.
The flat has its own entrance. It began life as a corner shop over 150 years ago. The stainglass windows of the shop are still here.
The flat is completely kitted out with appliances, dishes, (URL HIDDEN) if you lived there, but without the clutter. We can supply a high chair or cot at no extra charge.
There are two bedrooms with one en-suite bathroom and a bathroom with shower. The main bedroom has a king size bed which can be made into two extra long singles; the second bedroom has a queen size bed. The living room has a double size sleeper sofa
The kitchen, living and dining areas are open plan. The dining area can seat up to 6 people.
Maximum 5 people for rental, including infants and children.
This is a no smoking flat, but there is a small terrace off the master bedroom where smoking is allowed. It's a great place for morning coffee on a sunny summer morning. Alternatively, you can go out your front door and smoke on the sidewalk.
The flat is 900ft (80m2).
The high "cleaning fee" is a way to rig the pricing system to incentivise longer stays.
Please note guests are liable for costs above the security deposit amount if exceeded.
Guests will have the entire flat and a small terrace to themselves.
We are very willing to help you with your planning, contacts for transport and things to do. We love meeting our guests and getting to know them, but will respect your privacy.
In April, May, September & October we have a 3 night minimum; June through August, a 5 night minimum; during Christmas/New Year we have 7 night minimum. However, if we have gaps in the calendar or last minute we will always consider 1 or 2 nights.
We'll supply you with starter amounts of coffee, shower gel and toilet paper so, if arriving late, you won't need to do a shop. You will probably need to purchase more if you are staying several nights to a week. You will also need to purchase laundry products if you are doing laundry. There will be some kitchen supplies for you (paper towel, salt, pepper and probably oil and vinegar)
Please take care of the place as if it was your own (or maybe your parents'). This is a residential neighbourhood so you need to respect the tranquility. That means no loud parties late in the evening.
There's no problem inviting friends for dinner, etc. but no large parties in the flat.
We allow children but please be aware there are breakable decoration items in the flat for which you are responsible.
The master bedroom can be set up as a King size bed (1.8m wide) or two extra-long twin beds. However, if you are booking within 1 week of arrival, you may not have the choice as the flat might be set up for next confirmed guests. Please ask if this is important to you.
We live nearby, so usually can accommodate late check-in. Please ask, if you are going to be here after midnight.
