While the location is ideal and close to everything, we're located in a mature community and quiet residential area. Best suited for 1 adult and short term visits. You'll be a welcome guest! The 3 story building is a split-level design, with separate living spaces. Please see details below and refer to the photos and captions to get a sense of the place.
We live on the premises (with one friendly cat), on the main and upper levels and the entire lower/basement level is yours. You'll have a separate entrance option, enjoy spacious living in a quiet environment and weather permitting have access to our deck.
For your convenience your own space has a Mini / Bar Fridge, Tassimo Machine (with coffee, tea and hot-chocolate pods), kettle, a variety of teas, as well as a small Microwave. Walk 5 minutes to a major grocery store. It has a lovely bakery and well-stocked deli with a large selection of take-out options - everything from sushi, soups, sandwiches, and salads, to fully cooked meals. Drive 5 minutes to a variety of restaurants, many cafes and several coffee shops.
Private Accommodations with many conveniences provided - Free and safe parking for 1 vehicle. Separate entrance option (keypad entry through the garage). Private Bedroom. Queen-size bed with comfort top mattress. Large desk. WiFi and guest access to Desktop Computer. Private 3-piece Ensuite Bathroom with shower, toilet, and sink. Basic Toiletries (hand soap, shampoo, toilet paper, tissues) and Towels. Mini / Bar fridge and small microwave. Kettle, teapot and a variety of teas. Tassimo machine with pods for coffee, tea, and hot chocolate. Private Living / TV Room with 42" flat screen TV with Netflix.
Leave your car in Visitor Parking, take the walkway to a courtyard entrance, or use the password protected keypad and enter your level directly through the garage. At the end of a long hallway are your private spaces - 3 Rooms: Bedroom, Bathroom, and TV/Living Room.
You'll find the entire lower/basement level cozy, well lit and nicely decorated. Both the Living Room and Bedroom are spacious and fully carpeted. No need to share a bathroom! Your Bedroom has a private 3-piece Ensuite Bathroom with sink, toilet, and shower.
This corner Bedroom is large and bright. Two large windows, ceiling pot lights, and table lamps provide more than ample lighting. The bedroom is home to several Canadian antiques, including Jenny Lynn style furniture and handmade quilts. The Queen-size bed has a comfort top mattress and 4 pillows (2 down-filled).
The Bedroom's sitting area has a wing chair, side table, and floor lamp. Next to this Reading Nook is a large, antique oak desk, with chair and light. You may have guest access to the desktop computer or bring your laptop and access the internet with the WiFi code provided.
While the 3-piece Ensuite Bathroom (shower, toilet, sink) does not have a window, it does have a fan and is very well lit. There's plenty of hot water!
Fellow travelers, the TV/Living Room is globally decorated with art, souvenirs, and carpets from the 6 Continents we have visited. One small window, ceiling pot lights, and table lamps light this large room. A Conversation area with 2 leather sofas, a wing chair, and a table is located at one end. Or, curl up with the mohair throw from Ireland in the cozy Reading Nook located at the other end of the room. An oak bookcase is brimming with travel books and novels to read while you visit. If you're feeling chilled during cold or rainy days, an electric fireplace quickly warms the room.
Take in all that Kitchener-Waterloo and surrounding area have to offer or just relax in your own private spaces.

Weather permitting you're welcome to access a large canopied deck, a shared outdoor living area. Enjoy your morning coffee, overlooking gardens and a city-designated greenspace. And, if it looks like deck-weather in the evening, with luck we'll be watching a beautiful sunset!
Your privacy will be respected, but we'll also be happy to answer questions about the area or help you plan your visit. The Region of Waterloo and nearby communities are rich with interesting things to see and do, and some more well known then others. Refer to photos for event dates and website links to some of the major attractions.
Next to Munich, Germany, Kitchener (formerly named Little Berlin) is THE place to celebrate Oktoberfest! Our region is also famous for Elmira's Maple Syrup Festival. In the heart of Mennonite Country, we're well known for both our Kitchener and St. Jacob's Farmers Markets.
We're within an easy drive to the world renowned Stratford Festival and theatres. See excellent local talent at St. Jacob's Playhouse or further afield in Drayton.
For history buffs, you'll want to see Ontario's last covered bridge in Connestogo (a), visit the Waterloo Region Museum, tour Kilbride Castle in Baden and Kitchener's Schneider House.
For art enthusiasts, special exhibitions are always on at Waterloo's Clay and Glass Gallery, the Kitchener Waterloo Art Gallery and Doon Valley's Homer Watson's Gallery.
A little further but certainly within easy reach is the picturesque town of Elora, home to wonderful shops, fantastic trails and the Elora Gorge. Fergus, hosts the Scottish Games, and is just a wee drive away.
We're a multiculturally rich community with lots of restaurants...fine dining or budget friendly, country casual or ethnic.
If you enjoy hiking, receive tips on where to find hundreds of Trilliums, spot local wildlife or suggest walks and hikes based on your specific interests. To explore our regions development, geological history, etc. you'll have access to many.
