Our charming true log home features exposed beams, large woodstove, and plenty of space to unwind with an open kitchen/living area and 4 bedrooms. Take advantage of our cozy space while you explore the beauty of the surrounding white mountains.
Children are welcome, but we do not have any so you may find that this house is not 'child proof'. It is the responsibility of the guest to make sure that their children are kept safe.
Please be respectful- this house is very special to us- we got engaged and married here!
Due to the current threat of fire in northern NH, we are not able to allow fires in our backyard firepit unless you get a permit from the town. The town of Thornon has recently been issuing tickets to people that are burning open fires (like the kind you would burn in our firepit). This winter’s exceptional dryness and the risk of forest fire have caused this recent crackdown. For our guests safety we must enforce the town fire permitting rules.
You can easily get a fire permit in person at the Town of Thornton Fire Dept, or ahead of time online for a charge of $3.
When making a reservation- you agree to either acquire the appropriate fire permit OR to not have any open burning.
In NH: We're skiers and hikers who love exploring the White Mountains. Before we start our day, we head to one of the great local breakfast spots all over the area or our nearby coffee roaster. After finishing a day on the mountains we usually try out one of the craft beer breweries in the area. We hope those that use our home will be able to enjoy all the area has to offer and fall in love with it like we did.
When travelling we love exploring new cultures, interesting foods, and great wine!
