The valley of the Maurienne is the world's largest cycling area with prestigious mountain passes such as the Iseran, Madeleine or Galibier. It is also possible to rent out professional racing bikes, VTT, etc.
Among the surrounding mountains there are many lakes nearby for swimming and numerous skiing resorts, the Maurienne valley is home to around 20 ski resorts where there is also access to The Three Valleys via the Orelle gondola.
The property was taken out of the hunting zone 16 years ago and the land is organically managed ( cultivation of Saffron ) creating a haven for wildlife, also horses, cats and chickens live harmoniously here.
There are also a couple of good local restaurants which I will have a pleasure to tell you about.
