Casa di Lovato is located in the historic center in front of the beautiful park of Villa Margherita in Ragusa. A short walk from the Duomo and Via Roma, it is also near bus stops, supermarkets, shops, and more.
The apartment is of floor to sky type ("Terra al cielo") in that there are three floors: kitchen on the first, living room on the second, and the bedroom on the third floor. This home is ideal for those who are looking to explore Ragusa by foot and bus and who don't have any problems walking up a lot of stairs! The entire apartment has recently been freshly painted, in preparation for future guests.
The manager, Sally Veillette, is the founder of Hands-On Sicily, a "five-heart" tourist agency, specializing in making tourists and travellers feel at home throughout the island, year-round. Her villa residence is a 30 minute drive away from this apartment, in Marina di Ragusa. Check out her website to complete your stay on the island.
Sicilian-American, Sally Veillette has been visiting Marina di Ragusa since she was 8 years old, coming back year after year to visit her relatives. After retiring young from her career in high technology, she moved to Sicily to raise her young daughter. Sally founded the "Associazione Hands-On Sicily," and Italian non-profit, to create opportunities for the Sicilian community. She spearheaded the first international youth soccer tournament in Sicily's history, as well as produced the first "American Idol"-like music CD where there were participants from each of the island's nine provinces.
She currently runs Hands-On Sicily, a "five-heart" tourist agency, specializing in making the tourist feel at home throughout the island, year-round. From short-term intense island tours... to long-term stays and sabbaticals, Sally's team is the way to go.
