We really think we have the best location in Reykjavik.
The place is a ground floor apartment with a private entrance in a quiet residential street only 5 min by foot from center of town. Equally close to the newly developed Reykjavik Marina - great for eating out. Also close to the University of Iceland.
The apartment comes fully equipped incl. double bed in the bedroom, convertible couch (140 cm wide) in the living room, TV and WiFi. Small kitchen which is fine for breakfast and basic cooking, WC + access upon request to private washroom with washing machine.
Also close to the legendary Vesturbaejarlaug swimming pool and Kaffi Vest. Good shopping nearby. Easy parking along the street. Access to lush or snowy garden.
Couples or families preferred.
Easy access to back yard. Sitting around, football, frisbee, making a snow-man....
We have no problem helping out or giving info/advice about any places or activities. If you need anything please ask!
Reasonable behavior. Quiet after midnight.
Heating: radiators are self regulated (Danfoss) and should be set at between 1 to 4. Not to be turned off.
Ventilation: windows need to be kept open from time to time to ventilate the apartment. This is to prevent steam setting on the inside of the inside of the windows. Recommended to leave some windows open when you are out, f.ex. the kitchen window.
Check in: myself or someone from the family will let you in and show you around.
Check out: lock door and either bring the key upstairs or just drop it through the letterbox in the door.
Waste disposal: we separate paper and general rubbish. Bins are on the left side in front of the house by the street. Blue bin is for paper and grey for general rubbish.
