This apartment locates at Akácfa street 24. This area is called the old jewish district which is now the culture- and night life center of Budapest. The famous sights are just a step: New York Palace, Big Synagoge, Saint Steve Basilique, Váci street, Terror Museum, Parlament etc.
The apartment is located in the pub center of the city. You can reach the famous ruin-bars within few minutes: Szimpla, Doboz, Instant, Fogas Ház, Kuplung, 400, Kőleves Kert, Mazel Tov. The building of the apartments is a 110 year old tenement house, with cute open-corridors and many flowers. The building is lived by very friendly local people, so you can have a taste from the real Budapest lifestyle.
Me and Nándor (my husband) is looking forward to meet you, and if you have any questions about our flats OR about the city, please dont hesitate to contact me, I will do my best!! :)
You will get the apartment privatly, you are not sharing any space of it. It is just yours during your stay! You will get acces to the wifi code also, it is free.
I live about 15 minutes from the apartment, so if I am needed, I can be quick! :) You can also reach me any time on the phoe, and via email. I prefer to keep in touch through Airbnb messenger, so everything is in one place. Mostly I do the emailing, and my husband cleans the flats and checks in the guests. If you are interested, I would be happy to meet you for a coffee, I love to talk with my guests! :)
The apartment is in a 110 year old tenement house, all lived by local people. The building is really small and has an inner corridor where the doors to the apartments opening from. This is a really authetic type of Budapest buildings, but also you can make too much noize for the inhabtitants, if you having too much fun :) So please try to respect their policy.
If we are fully booked, you have to leave until 10am, as the next guests are having the chance to check in from 12 pm noon. BUT if we do not have a guest next, or they are coming later, you can check out later as well. So we are flexible, don't worry :)
What is in the price:
Towels; Bed linen, extra blankets. Wireless WIFI connection. Coffee, sugar, spices, oil, other basic food ingredients. You can use everything you find in the kitchen (which is fully equipped with everything you would need for a dinner party).
You also can call me any time, if you have a question or need advice about something :)
Cleaning is also in the price. BUT I kindly ask you to leave the apartment tidy. Take down the rubbish, take off the bedlinen, wash the dishes. Put back the furnitures if you moved them. Thank you :)
从2017年9月21日 - 2017年9月30日起最少住宿1晚。
We are Dorka and Nándor, a married couple in our early 30's. We live and love in Budapest, Hungary with our baby son Vazul and our little dog Bogi (so of course we are a baby and dog friendly accomodation!). Myself (Dorka) is in the hosting experience for 10 years, when I started to use the hospitality exchange sites whixh are not allowed to mentioned by name here ;) / Club of hospitality & Surfing Couches community/ In the last 10 years I have hosted around 60-70 people on my couch to share experience and get to know other cultures. When I finished my tourism studies, I didn't want to sit in an office but continue to meet with lovely people from around the world. That was the beginning of this little family company which we are running together with my great husband, Nándor. We have now 2 double room apartment, 2 one bedroom apartment and a cool 17 sm studio. All of them are deorated with our own hand, as Nándor is great in reconstruction and in D.I.Y. decorations.
Usually I (Dorka) am the one who is conecting with guests via email, organising reservations, and Nándor is cleaning the flats and welcoming the guests.
It is possible that we wont meet in person, as we are creating our big dream- to move to the countryside. But we have a sweet college Susan, a middle aged hungarian lady. She is cleaning the apartments and handle he keys to our guests. Although she speaks just a little english, her enthutiasm is outstanding. In every apartment you will find a long leaflet about the accomodation and about things to do in the city- so you will have all the neccesary info to have an amazing and balanced holiday in Budapest! And of course, we are always just an email away ;)
We love to be in nature, often go to the Lake Balaton where Nándor has a hidden little cottage in the Nature Conversation Area. We desire to hide ourselves from the world in that little piece of magic garden. We also experienced that more and more guests would want to go on a 1-2 day trip to the Balaton (which is world wide famous of its wine and sailing culture), so please let us know, and we can take you there!
We speak english confidently, I speak several words in russian and in german also. We are looking forward to welcome you in the heart of Budapest around Blaha Lujza square, lets create the magic together!
Greetings from a sunny May afternoon in Budapest:
Dorka & Nándor & Vazul & Bogi
