Tide Cottage is wheelchair accessible and just yards from the shore path, a fave launching spot for windsurfing enthusiasts. A comfy, home away from home for visiting Portsmouth, Chichester and the South Downs. Free Wifi, Linen and Towels included.
This is a bungalow with a large garden in the back and front garden. It is only a few steps to the shore -- when the tide is high, my children jump right into the sea. It's very shallow and sea-weedy for swimming (though my kids don't care), but it's a popular Windsurfing area. Stormy winds? The windsurfers turn up and park at the end of the road. It's shorter to walk into town via the main road, by why do that when you can walk via the sea? The sunny garden is great for croquet. Bring bikes - the roads are brilliant for cycling - and you've got the Downs within reach for amazing walks. We also love Portsmouth which is a 15 minute drive or a quick trainride from Emsworth.
The pin code to a key safe will be posted to you for access to keys.
You won't see us - we live in London! But there's wi-fi so we are easily contactable via internet or by a phone call. Our caretaker lives not far away for any emergencies and we will provide you with all contact details you need.

Writer, mother of three. Too much rugby happens in my household but that's okay. I use Airbnb when I'm travelling for research - a very sedate guest who spends all her time working on her laptop. We are offering Tide Cottage, our cottage by the sea on Airbnb. We love it there and hope you folks love it too. Airbnb suggested I share a life motto. Here it is: Let's do it all. We're already tired anyway.
