Long long ago, high on a bluff overlooking downtown St. Paul, a storybook home was built. Gorgeous woodwork and stained glass windows throughout to charm your eyes, gourmet kitchen to delight your tastes, claw foot tub to sink into... Intrigued?
This house has loads of character and charm! The guest room has a comfy double bed, with shared access to the full bathroom on the second floor. There is also a half bath on the first floor. In the warmer months, enjoy the patio, pond, and beautifully landscaped yard.
There is a Steinway piano for use by adults. Wifi access is available, as well as access to the study and Sonos house music system. If Trudy, your host, is not at home for some reason, you can be assured that the master bedroom will not be rented out. You will be the only guests.
When you arrive, you will be able to enter the house with a lock combination that has been programmed just for you. Trudy, your host, loves having guests, and would be delighted to share her knowledge of the Twin Cities with you. She has also created a guide book for you with places to go, things to do, and restaurants to try!
The house is close to Indian Mounds Park, a sacred site with walking trails and beautiful views of the Mississippi River and downtown. An eagle's nest is within a couple blocks of the house.
A small, cat-friendly dog may be allowed to visit - I sometimes have a very friendly Samoyed dog (Zuzu) with me. I now have two Bengal kittens (Yoshi and Yukiko) - they do not shed, and are very-low allergenic (the only kind I would be able to live with, since I'm allergic to other cats). Smoking is not permitted inside the house.
I love to travel and meet other travellers. I'm pretty easy going, like to experience new things, and have a good sense of humor.
When I started hosting with AirBNB, I didn't realize how much I would enjoy meeting my AirBNB guests! It has truly been a pleasure to open my home in this way and share my hometown with visitors. I'm starting a blog about my AirBNB experiences. It is at AirBeNMe.

Happy travels to you!
