The apartment is located in a building of architectural conservation in one of the most emblematic streets of the walled city of Cartagena: Calle San Agustin Chiquita.
All our furniture are unique antiques. They have been carefully restored to ensure your stay at our place will be a journey to the past of our city, with all the comfort of present.
The apartment is arranged over three floors:
On the first floor you will find a fully equipped kitchen, dining room, living room, two beautiful balconies, as well as a bathroom.
On the second floor (mezzanine) you will find the room. It is equipped with a queen bed, orthopedic mattress, 32 inch TV, bathroom and washing machine. The small window of this room allows a beautiful view of the steeple of the University of Cartagena.
A staircase connects the room to the third floor, where our beautiful terrace / solarium lies. From there you will have nice views of the walled city, the cathedral, the dome of St. Peter church, the Castillo de san Felipe de Barajas and the iconic Popa convent.
The terrace has a beautiful fountain that provides relaxation and serenity, both day and overnight. From here you will have the best view of the steeple of St. Augustine. Our terrace is the perfect place to spend hours reading, listening to music or just soaking up the sun.
The apartment has television service, wifi (9 megs - please, see the note below), towels and linens and all the furnishing needed to cook (refrigerator, conventional oven, microwave, blender, coffee maker, professional pots and pans, crockery etc).
We also have digital washing machine, iron and air conditioning.
Undoubtedly this is the best option in the city center!

The building has surveillance from 7 am to 10 pm Monday through Saturday. There is no doorman on Sundays. It is important to keep this in mind when booking.
Please note that the apartment is located on the third floor and the building does not have any elevator.
We have wifi services (9 megs), however due to some inconveniences with the Internet service in the area, we're not able to guarantee it works properly 24/7. Some time it doesn't work and sometimes it's flashy. In those cases, we ask the guest to inform us ASAP and we inmediately contact a technician. It may take some time to get the internet working again.
At the request for guests, shuttle service is offered to / from the airport; as well as land transport to Playa Blanca and other places of interest near the city. We also offer cleaning service.
Our apartment is ideal for couples.
Our guests have access to all the spaces, services and amenities described above. This is a private apartment and all its areas are for exclusive use of our guests.
Although we do not live in Cartagena, we are always in contact with our guests through the Internet and by telephone.
There is also a contact person in the city, she speaks Spanish and she is available to answer any additional questions that can not be resolved from a distance.
We will do our best to ensure the WiFi service during your stay. However, please bear in mind that due to some inconveniences with the Internet service in the area, we're not able to guarantee it works properly 24/7. If you arrive after 10.00p.m., on Sunday or on a holiday, we will have to arrange a special service to pick you up in the airport and give you the keys (please note that this will have an extra charge).
Check in must be done from 1.00 p.m to 9.30 p.m.
Since the building has concierge service until 9.30 pm, for guests arriving after that time, an additional charge will be established to ensure airport pickup and delivery of the apartment keys.
Check out should be no later than 11.00 a.m. The person in charge of cleaning comes into the apartment at 11.05 a.m. on the day when guests leave the apartment.
The apartment is rent for two people maximum.
Guests must leave the apartment clean and tidy, as they find it.
Upon leaving, guests must leave the garbage on the first floor, next to the entrance stairs.
We appreciate when guests water the plants during their stay.
We do not admit the entry of pets to the apartment.
Smoking is allowed only in the balconies and rooftop
Drugs or noises that disturb our neighbors are not accepted.
We appreciate guests who look after the environment and we invite you to not waste water or light.
Before arrival, guests must send their names and ID number (passport or driver's license) through airbnb system or by mail. The concierge will verify names and IDs upon arrival; and will invite the guests to come in. The entry of previously unregistered persons is prohibited.
Commercial sexual exploitation of children and adolescents is a crime. Sex tourism is prohibited in our apartment.
