Guests can walk around the farm, maybe see spring lambs and explore the creek and the dam. Our farm stay business gives you plenty of space for kids to run around and explore. Or you can just sit on your own verandah in the sun and breathe the fresh air and listen to the many varieties of birds.
We live just up the hill and are there to answer any queries and make suggestions about things to do and places to visit. (We also understand if you like to enjoy the quiet and privacy of our little bit of paradise and keep to yourselves that's fine too.) So much to choose from!
We also try to respond immediately to your emails.
You might be the only people renting the house or cottage so you could have the place to yourself! You have the farm to explore too - our little farm stay business often includes seeing baby lambs and even helping feed the sheep. Not a neighbour's house in sight! Please note - minimum stay 2 nights. As part of our farm stay business we like to leave you little surprises like home made jams (you can buy these too) fresh fruit in season and some basics for a continental breakfast to start you off on your first morning - tea, coffee, milk, home mixed muesli, and fresh herbs from our garden - after that you can fill your fridge with local produce from the southern forest food region from shops in Manjimup or Pemberton.
No smoking inside
Respect the space for others if there are other guests on the property.
Enjoy the tranquility.
I live near the beautiful karri forests of south west Western Australia and my husband and I enjoy sharing our rambling cottage and farm house with holiday guests. We live on an old farm situated along a little creek with ancient trees and rare birds, kangaroos and possums visiting. We have a big vegetable garden and I'm lucky to have an artist's studio where I paint and make silver jewellery. Our old kelpie loves to accompany visitors on walks around the farm. We grow berries in summer and have lots of fruit trees for preserving and jam making. We keep very busy and active with farm jobs but I do have time to learn the piano and also Japanese (I'm a beginner but am getting better.) We love France, Romanesque architecture and French food and speak tolerable French. We read heaps and follow politics and the arts.
